UNDERSTAND YOUR CALLINGYour calling as Christ's follower supersede your vocation. All Christians, regardless of our chosen careers have been called from the rest of the world to serve as Priests unto our God. This special service comes with the rare privilege of direct access to God's most holy presence. Therefore, wherever God places you by virtue of your vocation, field of study, job or any office you occupy per time, you are there to represent God to the people and intercede before God on their behalf. Beware of self-centered preoccupations of life. Serve according to your calling and impact eternity.

1.To walk with God can mean that a person has subdued the prevailing power of hate in his heart by allowing the Holy Spirit to take control.2.It can mean that the person has been reconciled to God by living a life of obedience to God. 3.It can mean that the person has a continuous communion and fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit indwelling us.4.It can imply our making progress in our spiritual life.Generally, walking with God requires a progressive motion. We can make it happen with our daily determination and allowing the Holy Spirit to be in control through-a)Studying God’s Word (2 Tim. 3:16)b)Having Personal Prayer (Matthew 26:41)c)Meditating on God’s Word and God’s goodness (Phil. 4:8)d)Always being aware of God’s providential care (Matt. 10:29)e)Living a life of obedience (Luke 1:6)f)Making a godly association (Psalm 1)FOOD FOR THOUGHTMore important than starting well in our walkwith God is to finish well

BE THANKFUL TO MOTHERMany of us know that mothers are special present from God. On this Mother’s Day, let us show our love, care, affection, respect and appreciation as we commemorate one of the important days in their lives. At least once in a year, make your mother feel loved and well appreciated. Think deeply about it, when was the last time you said “thank you” to your mother for everything she has done? When was the last time you told her that you love her?Let us admit it, we seldom appreciate the efforts and deeds of our mother. We seldom see the value of our mother even though she is always around for us, in good times and bad times. On this Mother’s Day, although we will not be able to repay all her kindness, let us make this day extra special for her. Let your mother know how thankful and grateful you are having her around.Happy Mother’s Day
