    Nigerian Lawmakers Calls for Unbundling of INEC for EfficiencyÂ
    The Senate is calling for the unbundling of the Independent National Electoral Commission to improve the efficiency of the electoral body.
    The Senate also resolved to make electronic transmission of results mandatory from the next general elections in 2027, including the uploading of polling unit-level results and result sheets used at different levels of result collation.
    The upper chamber also weighed in on the security challenges in the country, saying a comprehensive national security strategy should be developed that addresses Nigeria’s needs.
    The lawmakers say it is necessary for the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives to be part of the security briefings that the president gets.

    INEC's ICT Team Not Resilient Enough to Tackle System Hacking Â
    A former National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mustapha Lecky, says those in the Information Communication Technology unit of the Commission lack the competence to tackle any technological disruption in their system.
    He says that INEC over-promised by saying that it would transmit election results in real-time, adding that the electoral umpire should have stuck with the manual process since it is not yet matured technologically.
    He says the staff there don’t have that kind of competence to respond to any manner of disruption technologically.

    Nigeria's Electoral Commission says Judgement by Upload Glitch is Unfair
    The Independent National Electoral Commission says the glitch experienced in the upload of the February 25 presidential election in the country should not write off the entire polls held nationwide.
    INEC National Commissioner, Festus Okoye urged Nigerians not to judge the electoral empire as a result of the challenge the commission experienced in the upload of the presidential election.
    Okoye says the law has empowered political parties to know what goes on at the polling units.
    The Chairman of INEC’s Information and Voter Education Committee explained that Nigerians commended the electoral body for the deployment of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System in the general elections.

Pour cela des leviers financiers et économiques existent, et des pistes pour imaginer un CER, un Certificat d’Économies à la Ressource sont étudiées, mais il subsiste des freins. 

    Il est aujourd’hui crucial de trouver de nouvelles logiques économiques, de passer de l'économie linéaire à l’économie circulaire pour cesser de « vivre à crédit » et arrêter de consommer plus de ressources renouvelables par an qu’elles ne sont à notre disposition.
