In this message Pastor Bill talks about how to move with God through the process of change while discussing a big change at 180 Life Church.
The very nature of our Savior is that of grace, mercy, and compassion for he will not break the broken reed or put out the faintly burning wick.
Maybe it's a good thing that we don't know a lot about the lives we've affected or influenced. But when you find out that a young person started their faith journey simply because you were part of a team of Jesus People mis-fits back in the 70s, it can be quite humbling.
This episode reflects how even the work of Dr. Seuss and "Green Eggs and Ham" can challenge the Christian into breaking out of their norm. Things that maybe you didn't know, like, "do green eggs and ham really taste good?" Possibly, according to Sam-I-Am. We don't know until we try them.
Be challenged today, according to Isaiah 43, "Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old. I am about to do a new thing.."
And back in 1974, Sue Duffield had no idea and didn't know how her life would make an impact. There are just some things you don't know about that new thing.

When you pass through waters, I will be with you.
And when you pass through rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through fire, you will not be burned.
The flames will not set you ablaze.
As always, I wish you every blessing as you pray with this meditation.

The LORD will bring down Babylon. He will do a new thing, giving drink to His people. Despite Israel’s shortcomings, He will not remember their sins.

The LORD is Israel’s Redeemer. When they walk through the fire, they shall not be burned. They are His witnesses that the LORD is God.

Isaiah 43:1-2, 7, 10, 18-20, 26 NKJV
1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called [you] by your name; You [are] Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I [will be] with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. ... 7 Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him." ... 10 "You [are] My witnesses," says the LORD, "And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I [am] He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. ... 18 "Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness [And] rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness [And] rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. ... 26 Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your [case], that you may be acquitted.
This chapter of Isaiah makes a few things abundantly clear:
1. God calls us by our names
2. We are redeemed so we don’t have to be afraid of anything
3. The river and the fire- though they come, will not over take us or consume us.
4. God wants us so close to Him that we are open to and recognize when He is doing a new thing and to identify that new thing He is doing
5. God wants to acquit us because Jesus became our payment for wrong done
