दिल्ली में तमाम वाम दल मिलकर आज कश्मीरी गेट से लेकर LG हाउस तक बुल्डोजर राजनीति को लेकर सिटीजन मार्च निकाला. जिसमें स्टूडेंट आर्गेनाइजेशन से लेकर ट्रेड आर्गेनाइजेशन ने हिस्सा लिया. जिसमें सांसद वृंदा करात भी उपस्थित हुई उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार गरीबों के पेट पर बुल्डोजर चला रही है. साथ ही उन्होंने ये भी कहा की देश के प्रमुख मुद्दों से भटकाने के लिए सरकार बुल्डोजर राजनीति की मदद ले रही है. 

"The Mainstream news media in India has always been criticized for its coverage of events. Switch on a Television news channel today, and you will be greeted with some Provocative, cringy, at times misleading headlines. In a race to become number 1, which surprisingly everyone is on their channel, objectionable graphics and hashtags are run. On top of that there are noisy debates served to the viewer peppered with shrill voices of the anchors and panelists fighting with each other. Sometimes, even beating each other up. There situation is no different as far as ground reports are concerned. There is a new form of dancing reporting which has been cintroduced to the viewer where the reporter on the ground does jumping and other physical stunts while presenting information. In the past the news channels have received wider criticism from the civil society for lack of ethics in presenting news, especially when it comes to sensitive topics. Some news channels have also earned the tag of Godi Media for this. But so far this criticism was from people, society, media watchdogs or opposition. But the situation has turned so bad that even the Modi govt has issued a strongly worded advisory to satellite news channels, that is, electronic media asking them to stop using “unparliamentary language”, “making false claims” and “misquoting agencies” in their news coverage. The advisory issued by the I&B ministry said that some news channels have been ""making false claims"", using ""scandalous headlines"", and offering ""fabricated and hyperbolic statements intending to incite audiences"". Well, if anything one thing must be highlighted that even the Modi govt acknowledged that sometimes what is being served as news on TV channels intends to incite audiences. दिल्ली के जहांगीरपुरी में हनुमान जयंती के मौके पर हुई हिंसा के बाद उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम ने अवैध अतिक्रमण के नाम पर इलाके में बुलडोजर चलाना शुरू कर ही दिया था जिसके बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम द्वारा किए जा रहे अवैध अतिक्रमण को हटाने के अभियान पर रोक लगाने के आदेश दे दिए थे. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यथास्थिति बनाए रखने का आदेश दिया है. वरिष्ठ पत्रकार सतीश झा इस मुद्दे पर अपनी राय व्यक्त कर रहे हैं. 

"The Indian governance now has a new dimension. The governance is based on quick justice, read that as injustice in most cases and it is carried out through not courts but through bulldozers. After Uttar Pradesh then Madhya Pradesh's Khargaon, the bulldozer raj reached the national capital Delhi. In Madhya Pradesh we saw that Khargaon where communal clashes broke out during Ram Navami procession, the administration carried out a demolition drive. They bulldozed the houses of some of the people there. While the administration was saying that this was illegal encroachment they were removing, those in te govt said that the bulldozer were being run on the houses of rioters. Many of those houses that were bulldozed belonged to Muslims. The move received widespread criticism that the administration carried out the drive without the courts pronouncing anybody guilty. Or even if it was to remove illegal encroachment, the administration did not give prior intimation to the occupants. Similar scenes unfolded in Delhi today. where the North MCD carried out demolition drive in Jahangirpuri. Three days ago on Saturday, communal clashes broke out in Jahangirpuri during a hanman Jayanti procession. Both the sides blamed each other for the violence. The situation is already tense in Jahangirpuri. Amid the police action that was being carried out in the area, the North MCD yesterday issued a notice saying that it will carry out the demolition drive in Jahangirpuri on what it calls ""illegal encroachments"". It also sought the deployment of 400 police personnel at the spot. And so it did today. The North Delhi Municipal Corporation launched an anti-encroachment drive in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri on Wednesday. Bulldozers rolled into the area and began demolishing houses and shops. Since the morning, there was an unease on the ground in Jahangirpuri. People who had put up small shops, or carts on the road, started clearing it in anticipation of the Bulldozer action. At around 10.30 the bulldozers started razing the establishments to the ground. starting with razing the tin shade, then going on to bulldozing the walls and then the entire structure. 

उत्तर पश्चिमी दिल्ली के जहांगीरपुरी इलाके में दो समुदायों के बीच हिंसा भड़क गई. न्यूज़ एजेंसी पीटीआई के मुताबिक़, शनिवार को हनुमान जयंती जुलूस के दौरान ये हिंसा भड़की, जिसमें कुछ पुलिसकर्मी भी घायल हो गए हैं. पुलिस के मुताबिक़, पथराव हुआ है और कुछ गाड़ियों को आग के हवाले कर दिया गया है. वरिष्ठ पत्रकार सतीश झा इस मुद्दे पर अपनी राय व्यक्त कर रहे हैं. दिल्ली में हनुमान जन्मोत्सव (Hanuman Jayanti Violence) के दौरान शनिवार को जहांगीरपुरी (Delhi Jahangirpuri) इलाके में दो समुदायों के बीच हिंसा भड़क उठी. पुलिस के अनुसार शाम छह बजे हुई हिंसा के दौरान पथराव हुआ और कुछ वाहनों में आग लगा दी गई. जहांगीरपुरी तथा अन्य संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों में अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा कर्मियों को तैनात किया गया है. गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने अधिकारियों से बात कर हिंसा करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्‍ती के निर्देश दिए हैं. घटना की जांच स्पेशल सेल से करवाने की बात कही गयी है. सभी दलों की तरफ से लोगों से शांति बनाए रखने की अपील की गयी है. हिंसा में संलिप्त 9 आरोपियों को हिरासत में लिया गया है.
