Music by Ethan Rapp
In the tenth episode of Season 8 (Coming-of-Ages) Kyle is joined by musician Ben Childs and filmmaker Jordan Berry to discuss the fragmentation of time, culture, and gender that defines the multi-faceted coming-of-age survival tale set against the brutality of the outback and the impact of colonialism in Nicolas Roeg's experimentally crafted Walkabout (1971).
David and Jack are two best buds backpacking across Northern England on holiday when they are suddenly and viciously attacked by a large creature. Jack gets mauled to death and David gets bit but survives the encounter. As he recovers, David begins having nightmares and seeing things that might not actually be there. Is this all in his head? Or is David slowly becoming more beast than man?

An American Werewolf in London. Join Morris and Rick as they stay off the moors and chat about this 1981 classic. Does this film still pack a vicious bite, or is it cursed to wander in limbo for eternity?
A film where two young kids get lost in the Australian outback. Kyle doesn't think he'd be able to stand the heat. Dave believes he'd be able to suck mud water through a straw. The Machine plays the didgeridoo.
