    Moving Forward With Courage

    Moving Forward With Courage
One of the major reasons we decide to stop moving forward is fear. It may be fear of the unknown or fear of what others will think or even the fear of how difficult moving forward may be. If we are going to continue to March when it would be easier to stay where we are and Die, we need to learn how to push fear aside and move forward courageously. Today on The March or Die Show we learn from a man in the Bible who had to be told by God four times in a row to be courageous, what it takes to move forward with confidence even when we don't feel so confident. How do we Move Forward Courageously? Let's figure it out together on The March or Die Show.

Life Lessons From a 100 Mile Race

Life Lessons From a 100 Mile Race
We learn alot about ourselves and about life when we experience the overwhelming. This is why it's so important to put ourselves in difficult situations BEFORE someone or something else does. We need to do hard things so that we can learn how to navigate the inevitable challenges of life and It's always better to learn how to March when it would be easier to Die before those become the only two choices. In this week's episode of The March or Die Show I talk about several of the lessons I learned as I completed a 100 mile Ultra Endurance Race. The race was quite an experience, but I hope that I will apply the lessons learned to the rest of my life!

How To Avoid A Crisis Of Faith

How To Avoid A Crisis Of Faith
What does it mean when someone talks about "Deconstructing" their faith or having a "Crisis of Faith"? How do we view those terms in light of what the Bible says and, how do we follow the admonition of Hebrews 10:23 to "Hold fast the profession of our faith"? AND, what does all of this have to do with March or Die? So many questions that I believe are answered on this week's episode of the podcast. If you or someone that you know has struggled with faith, you need to listen to this episode. I hope that you will be challenged and encouraged as we explore this together.

Fighting When You Don't Think You Can Win

Fighting When You Don't Think You Can Win
How do you keep fighting when you don't think you can win? I love listening to the stories of those who have done just that because it motivates me to keep Marching when it would be easier (and may make more sense) to stay where I am and die. Today on The March or Die Show I have the privilege of sharing a recent conversation that I had with Jeff and Jordan Harmon of Angel Studios. Even if you are unfamiliar with the Harmon Brothers or Angel Studios, I am sure you have heard of their incredible series, The Chosen.

While we may look at the success that they have had in producing this life-changing series and think that it must have been easy, today they tell the story of fighting against nearly insurmountable odds to keep the studio going when it seemed like they would not make it. This is an encouraging interview that I hope will motivate you to keep going even when it seems like you cannot possibly make it.

The Church in Times of Crisis

The Church in Times of Crisis
Why does the Church matter in times of Crisis? Even as more and more people in our country claim no church affiliation, historically speaking, the church has always been essential in communities during times of crisis or uncertainty. Today on The March or Die Show, my guest Steve Guerra and I discuss the history of the church in moments of crisis and why the church is needed today more than ever.

In addition to being a teacher and historian, Steve is the host of two podcasts, "The History of the Papacy", and "Beyond the Bigscreen". You can find both of these and learn more about Steve at www.atozhistorypage.com .

Where Should We Focus At Christmas?

Where Should We Focus At Christmas?
With everything going on during the Christmas season, it can be difficult to know exactly where to focus. The problem with a lack of focus at this time of year, is that we can get to the other side exhausted while missing the reason this holiday exists! Family and presents and gatherings with friends are all great, but we need to make sure we are focused on the right person (The Christ of Christmas)  so that we can focus on the way that He taught us to live (the secret to a great Christmas). What should be our focus this Christmas season? Join me on this week's episode of The March or Die Show to find out.

Learning from History to Keep Moving Forward with Guest Joshua Cohen

Learning from History to Keep Moving Forward with Guest Joshua Cohen
How does learning from history help us to move forward when life becomes difficult? What is the value in sharing our own past when trying to help others? My guest today, Joshua Cohen, not only understands the importance of listening to stories, but uses his own story as a source of encouragement and motivation. Joshua is the host of the podcast, Eyewitness History, where he interviews men and women who have had a unique opportunity to view specific, historical events. As a gifted storyteller, he conveys many of the important lessons he has learned by listening to others and then tells of moving forward in spite of his own very personal struggle. A Conversation with Nick Vujicic of Life Without Limbs

A Conversation with Nick Vujicic of Life Without Limbs
On this episode of The March or Die Show I am honored to talk with Nick Vujicic, the founder of the incredible ministry, Life Without Limbs. Nick is a living testimony of what it means to allow God to use every part of your life to minister to the world around you. He often says, "If you can't get a miracle, be one for someone else!" Born without arms or legs, he has truly become a miracle for millions around the world as he shares his story of Hope and Triumph in spite of what many perceive as insurmountable odds.

Confronting Suicide: When Darkness Becomes Despair

Confronting Suicide: When Darkness Becomes Despair
How do we address the issue of Suicide? We all know what it is in life to struggle. To have darkness come into our lives because of circumstances created by us or others. In our rational moments we can identify this darkness as temporary and find a way to move out of the darkness and into the light. But what do we do when we can't? When the Darkness takes hold and moves us to a point of Despair? What do we do when we think that ending our life is the only way out and the best option for those around us?

Suicide has become a pandemic in our culture that must be addressed. In spite of the FEELINGS of despair there is HOPE and HELP if we know where to look. This week, on the March or Die Show, I take some time to confront this topic in an attempt to put some context around the issue of Suicide while providing some practical steps to those who have considered or are considering self-harm. This episode is not exhaustive but can serve as a starting point for those who are struggling right now.

Please, if you are putting yourself in danger, get help IMMEDIATELY. Call the National Suicide Hotline at 800-273-TALK (8255). For those who have not YET found themselves in a place of physical danger but who allow thoughts of self-harm to pervade their thoughts, use this episode as a place to begin getting the help that you need.

Faith Over Fear with Guest Nathan Spearing
Why do we allow FEAR to keep us from moving forward? How does FAITH push fear aside so that we can accomplish all that God has set in front of us? I have found in my own life that the desire to March is often defeated by the fear of what might, or might not, happen if I keep moving forward. This week on The March or Die Podcast I discuss the relationship of Faith and Fear and how to do the right hard thing instead of the easy wrong thing with my guest Nathan Spearing.

Nathan is a former Army Ranger, Entrepreneur, Husband and Father who is dedicated to living life to the full while equipping those around him to do the same. What is Biblical Masculinity with guest Kyle Thompson
What is Biblical Masculinity and why does it matter? Sadly, even in the Christian community so many get this wrong.
