    Discussion: Viewer Feedback

Watch the video of this conversation here.

Now that the first season of All Things Re-Considered has concluded, Peter Boghossian and Matt Thornton met to discuss viewer feedback. The vast majority of feedback has been positive, but a few criticisms are addressed: why Peter and Matt used Rachel Levine’s preferred pronouns, the “Kazoo Dilemma” (who is responsible for its inclusion and who performed the devil’s instrument), why we chose to examine NPR, if/how NPR could be fixed, the possibility that NPR “has always been this way,” what news we can trust, and the future of All Things Re-Considered.

We received several requests to release excerpts from the episodes that would be easier to share with friends than full videos. We think that’s a great idea, so individual show segments will be available over the next few weeks—just in time for lively discussions with friends and family throughout the holiday season.

Episode Fifteen - 16th July 2003 - Top Of The World

Episode Fifteen - 16th July 2003 - Top Of The World

After a run of decent Tomorrow's World episodes, Russ and Mark decide that they have been enjoying themselves too much and the only way to atone for this is with a fresh bout of self-flagellation. And what better way than to watch the very last episode of TW ever broadcast? It is of course completely terrible, although please don't blame hosts Katie Knapman and Gaz Top as they really are trying their best. Blame whoever thought that turning Tomorrow's World into a children's show was a good idea.
Prepare to learn almost nothing as we vaguely cover the topics of Hawk-Eye, personal submarines, dinosaur design and surprisingly savoury comets.

Episode 58: Songs to Cheer You Up

Episode 58: Songs to Cheer You Up
Sometimes, when life isn't treating you or those you love very kindly, music can cut through the darkness. So in this episode, you will hear five songs that will cheer you up. Hopefully, you will hear something that will make your day a bit brighter. The songs are "Πάρτυ στο Κρεβάτι" by Kazoo Salonika, "Good Morning!" by Dmitriy Samoylenko, "Tonelaga" by SK Simeon, "Mujer Milagrosa" by De Bruces A Mi, and "Le Long De La Route" by Zaz.
