Vous inquiétez pas, on était pas morts, on dormait. Et puis bon, je suis sûr que vous avez déjà lu plein de blog posts qui commencent par "Coucou, ça fait longtemps que j'ai pas posté, mais..."

Mais nous on est pas de ce bois là. Vous pouvez être sûrs qu'on reviendra. Il nous reste trop de pages wikipedia à couvrir, trop d'enquètes impossibles à commenter !
Après un long hiatus donc, et 2 hors séries (dont un consacré à Maguy qui vous a visiblement beaucoup marqué), nous sommes de retours pour parler de Robert Capia, comme promis il y a quelques semaines.
Robert Capia , dont nous avions tiré la fiche au sort, était un acteur et brocanteur spécialisé en poupées et marionettes bizarres.
Donc au programme de cet épisode :
Sylvain vous montre sa Bète, un film onirico-érotique de Valentin Borowczyk sorti en 1975 où figure M. Capia. TL;DR restez ya du cul.
Florence parle de "la maison de poupées", manga horrifique de Juni Ito, avec le maléfique Jean-Pierre.
Et Martin évoque Takeshi Kitano's Dolls, le film le plus Télérama compatible de Kitano - mais c'est super bien quand même.

En 15 minutes, nous devrons décrypter ce qui est considéré comme le sommet de sa filmographie : Hana-bi. Mais le condisérons aussi comme son chef d'oeuvre ?
Et nous abordons un autre de ses sommets : L'été de Kikujiro
Beaucoup d'émotions, et un chrono qu'on aurait bien aimé repousser indéfinimement pour rester dans ces films !

Pour la première fois depuis le début du podcast, on met le pied dans la comédie, avec Getting any, film complètement dingue où Kitano décide de faire rire avec un jeune homme qui veut une nouvelle voiture pour séduire des femmes. Un OVNI donc, qu'on prend plaisir à évoquer pour le meilleur et pour le pire.
Puis il est question de Kids return, oeuvre mélancolique, amusée aussi à ses moments, éminemment sociale et poétique, et pour une fois pas si pessismiste.
Marvin et Martin Gamera tentent de p arler comme il faut de ces deux films en 15 minutes, enjoy !

This week on Total Movie Recall, Steve and Ryan finally have the psychotic break that was inevitable since this show began. They watch the 2000 Japanese classic "Battle Royale" and have PTSD flashbacks about hormonal insanity in middle school, admit how ineffectual they would be if they had to fight a bunch of preteens to the death, and encourage kids to never trust adults.
42 9th graders are sent to a deserted island. They are given a map, food, and various weapons. An explosive collar is fitted around their neck. If they break a rule, the collar explodes. Their mission: kill each other and be the last one standing. The last survivor is allowed to leave the island. If there is more than one survivor, the collars explode and kill them all.
