In this episode of The Passion Collective Podcast, Zach is joined by one of his closest friends, Sam Brown aka @hambinooo. We discuss his journey through gaming and live-streaming. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and months turned to years of dedication. It took a lot of sacrifice, but he built a legitimate platform and eventually became a Twitch partner. After dropping out of college, and overcoming his addiction, he spent a few years working various jobs before finally deciding to go all in on something he's passionate about. He saved up some money and left his home state of New York with his now fiancee and never looked back. While some people thought he was crazy, he had the vision and stuck to the plan. Fast forward to present day, he's built a lucrative operation by branding himself. He bought a house and just had his first child. It's an inspiring story of adversity, grind, and execution. When it comes to your passion, don't be afraid to bet on yourself.

Bryce Hall is the star that Justin.tv (and later Twitch) had hoped to create. At 21 years old, he is a social media phenom with 25M+ followers across platforms such as TikTok and YouTube. Bryce's rise to superstardom started with a yearning for connection: he started live-streaming after being bullied in high school, and in 6 years took over all the headlines and now lives 24/7 in his haters' head, rent-free.
I knew Bryce from appearing on his podcast, Capital University. I loved his determination and hustle, and invited him to come on The Quest. Bryce is our youngest guest on The Quest, and this was a great crash course on Gen Z for me.

Live-Streaming Misery, B&H vs Adorama, The Problem with eBay and Michael's Company Review
Michael and Dustin open the show with some inexplicably off-topic discussion about hiking and heart health. After warming up the old windbags, the guys talk about Covid and Dustin's unbridled passion for masking at wedding shoots. Later, Dustin proclaims that live-streaming is the new "drone" of the videography world and simultaneously destroying his work life. The guys go on to chat about Michael sleeping in his car, B&H vs Adorama and the problem with eBay. Before wrapping the guys hit on Dustin's clumsiness and feelings, Michael gets a post-shoot report card and the guys rag on the new RED Komodo.
