Season 2 Episode 5 - What is in your Marketing Room 101?

In this episode, we create the EHYB Room 101. A place for all things awful, infuriating and tedious about marketing to be sent to for all eternity. Join us as we work through the first four entrants and ask you to provide us with your own.

If you want to get in touch to suggest your own suggested entrants you can find us on Twitter and LinkedIn. Maybe you'll get them sent away for all eternity!

The podcast also sees another new feature where I recommend marketing tools, content or people that I have found useful or illuminating. For this inaugural episode, I recommend Bob Hoffman and his wonderfully cantankerous content.

    Introduction and Loyalty Marketing

    Introduction and Loyalty Marketing

Up Next is our podcast where Ryan Atkinson, Suzie Livingston, and Mark Still from SmartEtailing discuss topics pertinent to our bicycle retail clients, industry suppliers and brands, and service providers in the cycling industry.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, impromptu gatherings around a table or a desk in our office were the norm. Now that we're all working remotely, we have to work a little harder to make those moments happen and that's where this podcast comes in. Short and to the point, we hope to bring valuable information and insights to those involved in bicycle retail, e-commerce, and the supply chain.

In this episode, we find our way into talking about loyalty marketing too. What is a retailer to do when they can't get enough product to sell and anything and everything bike-related has demand that far outstrips supply? There's more to it than what happens today. Astute retailers are marketing for tomorrow, for next month, and next year to ensure all of these new bike riders become their lifetime customers.

We also publish Up Next on our YouTube channel if you'd like to watch while you listen. Here is our Up Next playlist and a link to this episode.
