One Shot - A Christmas Carol

One Shot - A Christmas Carol
Wherein we talk about THE Christmas Adaptation - A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and we also talk about: where our ghosts of Christmas past would take us, other Hallmark Movies Danielle watched, shifting the idea of how to celebrate Christmas, why was Scrooge such a dick anyway?, how hard is it to make pudding?, and the various movie versions that we've enjoyed.

Episode 46: Mickey's Christmas Carol // Bah Humbug!

Episode 46: Mickey's Christmas Carol // Bah Humbug!

Charles Dickens wrote A Christmas Carol in 1843 and over the many years there have been many TV and film adaptations of the story.  But to us, none come close as Disney's "Mickey's Christmas Carol".  Lots of OG Disney mainstays are represented in this 30 minute special.  MIckey as Bob Cratchit, Goofy as Jacob Marley and Donald as Fred, Ebineezer's nephew.  Of course we can't forget Scrooge McDuck portraying Scrooge naturally.  We discuss the best scenes and so much more!!

Christmas Movies! Die Hard and Home Alone Are the Same Movie.

Adam and Joe do what is plainly obvious, talking about Christmas movies! They also start with some brief rants about laugh tracks in sitcoms and going to the theater in the current day. Joe and Adam bring up movies such as Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Die Hard, Mickey's Christmas Carol, and several others. Give it a listen and tell us what you think!
