The Danny Masterson Trial and the Mila Kunis/Ashton Kutcher Backlash; Jimmy Fallon is Toxic; the Joe Jonas/Sophie Turner Divorce; Lizzo's Booty Shake; and more

On this week's show I put on my legal hat to cover the Danny Masterson verdict and my co-host (Mark) and I analyze the backlash against Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher for writing letters of support for their 'That 70's Show' co-star.  Then we ask whether Jimmy Fallon's on-set behavior is toxic or simply par for the course in the entertainment industry. We also discuss the divorce between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner and whether it's possible for a relationship to survive when both parties have huge careers. Plus, is Lizzo's booty shake inappropriate in light of the lawsuit against her? And finally, is it too soon for Blue Ivy to be in the spotlight at Beyonce's concert?

Those Reese Witherspoon & Ashton Kutcher Pics Are More Suspicious Than You Think

Those Reese Witherspoon & Ashton Kutcher Pics Are More Suspicious Than You Think

    On the show today…

In exciting movie news (at least for everyone who snuck horror movies into sleepovers in the late 90s) the iconic slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer could be making a big screen comeback with original stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prince Jr. Don’t get your hopes up just yet, but here’s what we know so far.

Plus, Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted sitting next to 19-year-old model Eden Polani at a party and now the world thinks they’re dating (to be fair, there is precedent). For years, Leonardo’s career protected him from criticism about his age gap relationships, but recently that has all come crumbling down, thanks to an unlikely course.

And everyone was pretty excited by the fact that Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher had teamed up for a new rom-com…until we saw the red carpet photos of them together and decided they hate each other. Now Ashton has come out with a predictable explanation around what happened, but that still doesn’t explain why these two seasoned rom-com stars decided to ignore every red carpet rule and potentially tank their new film.

Jesinta Franklin And The New Influencer Debate

    On the show today…

Australian Idol is back on our screens this week after a decade-long break, with a new judging panel that includes Kyle Sandilands, Meghan Trainor, Harry Connick Jr, and Amy Shark. There has already been some backlash to the new season that we need to discuss.

And Ashton Kutcher is Esquire’s new cover star, featuring one of the most in-depth interviews he’s given in decades. There a two big takeaways from the interview, including his stance on a co-star’s legal battles and the moment Hollywood turned on him.

Plus, Jesinta Franklin’s announcement that she looking to start a subscription section to her Instagram account, but donate the profits to charity, has kicked off an unexpected storm of comments regarding how celebrities and influencers alike monetize their platforms. In the end, it all boils down to the stark reminder that our relationship with celebrities is based on a transactional relationship.
