Friend and frequent visitor to the show Cathy Justus (Poisoned Horses) will be discussing with me the many and varied ways that flouride is being slipped into our foods, what the dangers of cumulative fluoride poisoning are, how to avoid this attack on our health and that of our children. Cathy has recently taken up the fight against smart meters and their constant electromagnetic radiation danger. We will also be discussing the approaching avalanche of autism cases due to glyphosate (Roundup).

This week's episode will focus on the topic of Genetically Modified Organisms, or GMO's. Even though state-level ballot initiatives to label GMO's are sprouting up, many people still don't understand what they are, and are frightened by television commercials paid for by those who have a vested interest in keeping GMO's unlabeled. I will start the show by explaining how patent law works and how Monsanto is using it to intimidate, sue, and bankrupt farmers who they claim are infringing on their GMO patents. I'll discuss whether, or not, food prices will increase if GMO's are labeled, and also describe the different types of GMO crops and the health risks associated with them. I'll close with ways to eat better and avoid GMO's (labeled or not) until long-term testing is done and we can be assured that they are safe. Until then, I urge caution, because we owe the legacy of a safe food supply to all children, everywhere.
