    Glyphosate: The Scourge of Mankind

    Glyphosate: The Scourge of Mankind
The United States faces a health care crisis today due to rapidly rising health care costs. Why does the US spend so much more on health care than any other country, with so little to show for it? Dr Seneff posits that the US population is being chronically poisoned by a toxic chemical, glyphosate, that is pervasive in the food supply. Glyphosate is the active ingredient in the herbicide, Roundup. Because the government falsely believes that glyphosate is nearly harmless to humans, they have been very careless in monitoring it and have allowed it to permeate not only the food and water supply but also cotton products like Tampons and sterile cotton gauze, biological drugs, and, most importantly, vaccines. Dr Seneff believes that glyphosate is the main contributor to the epidemic of debilitating autoimmune diseases, including autism, Alzheimer's disease, Celiac disease, lupus, food allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, cancers, and obesity.

    Moms Across America: FOOD FIGHT!

    Moms Across America: FOOD FIGHT!
Zen Honeycutt, Co-founder of Moms Across America, is lifting her voice and empowering moms everywhere to take on our food industry! As an inspired community they rally to change laws, start local and global organic food movements, and educate the masses on the poisoning of our food system and just what it is doing to our bodies, especially those of our children. The biggest culprit of the chemical warfare on our food supply is Round-Up and the toxin it contains. Glyphosate: a chemical in Roundup and hundreds of other herbicides which are sprayed on 80 percent of our GMO and many non organic food and feed crops. It does not wash, dry or cook off. Our animals eat the grains it is sprayed on as well and thus polluting our meat supply. Without the conscious movement of community voicing their desires against big government and big corp. the path our whole food system is going down will not change, but only get worse.Let's learn together how to create change and restore our health!

André Leu, author of The Myths of Safe Pesticides and Member of the Monsanto Tribunal
To say that no other company is as hated as Monsanto is an understatement. The Monsanto name is toxic, driving away consumers who point to products like RoundUp, glyphosate and numerous GMO crops for health disorders ranging from autism and alzheimers to gluten intolerance and cancers. Our guest heretic is André Leu, author of The Myths of Safe Pesticides and member of the Monsanto Tribunal. In today’s episode of the Nutrition Heretic Podcast, we discuss the faulty beliefs behind the safety of poisons, and why they wreak such havoc on our bodies.

    Episode 260: Learner Limbach

    Episode 260: Learner Limbach

Learner Limbach a committed leader in the local food and agriculture movement. He has been a farmer, an educator, a community organizer, a business professional and a consultant. Through this work Learner has grown increasingly passionate about eliminating the barriers that make it difficult for farmers to be successful. In 2013 Learner spearheaded the creation of the Orcas Food Co-op, a consumer-owned co-op that he now manages as his full-time job. With a central goal of creating a sustainable local food system with strong regional connections, the Co-op has quickly grown to over 1000 members and $2.3 million in sales in 2015. In addition to running the Co-op, Learner also serves actively on numerous agriculturally focused boards and committees, with a strong focus on increasing inter-organizational collaboration and capacity building.

    GMOs and You

    GMOs and You
GMO (Genetically modified organisms) foods are plants modified through gene splicing techniques. When they were first introduced, it was thought that they would solve the world’s hunger problems, although this has now proven not to be the case. With the emergence of weeds and bugs that are resistant to these modified seeds, farmers are now having to use special pesticides to save their crops. The safety of theses foods hasn’t been proven, and new studies are linking them to a growing number of health problems. Most developed nations require these foods to be labeled at the very least, but in North America, we do not. Dr. Risk will be speaking with Diana Reeves, founder of www.gmofreeusa.org to discuss the growing movement to label GMOs and the basic right to chose what is in your food.

Caroline Kinsman of The Non Gmo Project

Caroline Kinsman of The Non Gmo Project
GMOs (or “genetically modified organisms”) are organisms whose genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering, or GE. This relatively new science creates unstable combinations of plant, animal, bacteria and viral genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods. Don't miss your chance to get the facts on GMO's Come listen or call in and ask your quetions as we interview Caroline Kinsman of the Non-GMO Project (NonGMOproject.org). The Non GMO Project is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building the non-GMO food supply, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices. We believe that everyone deserves an informed choice about whether or not to consume genetically modified organisms. The Non-GMO Project is governed by a Board of Directors. We also work with a collaborative network of technical and communications advisers from all backgrounds and sectors.

Cori Brackett on Aspartame, EMR dangers, GMOs and glyphosate
Frequent guest Cori Brackett, director/producer of the documentaries Sweet Misery and Sweet Remedy, was in a wheelchair with MS, her vision failing, unable to move, when she discovered that her ailment was caused by the terrible neurotoxin, aspartame (NutraSweet). She stopped her diet soda consumption cold turkey, and recovered totally. Now she has her own documentaries, Internet radio show and is a passionate crusader for natural health and well being. We'll discuss cell phone radiation, smart meters, the connection between GMOs and autism, and generally have a wide-ranging conversation about the many attacks on our health, and how we can avoid them.

TMR 098 : Dr. Stephanie Seneff : On Why The World Must Round-Up Glyphosate

TMR 098 : Dr. Stephanie Seneff : On Why The World Must Round-Up Glyphosate
This week we welcome Dr. Stephanie Seneff, a Senior Research Scientist at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, for an in-depth (and sometimes slightly technical) conversation on the subject of glyphosate, the world's most popular herbicide. Marketed as Roundup by Monsanto, and most famously used in combination with Roundup Ready® GMO crops, glyphosate is officially considered to be of minimal risk to human beings when used as directed. But is that really true? After several years of research - drawing upon studies into the effects of glyphosate on animals, and persuasive statistical correlations between the increase in glyphosate usage and the upsurge in various human illnesses, most notably autism - Dr. Seneff reaches a conclusion very different from the official line: Glyphosate, she believes, is a major risk to human health and needs to be removed from our environment as soon as possible.
