Liebe braucht keine Ferien 2?

Welche Zutaten braucht ein guter Liebesfilm um erfolgreich zu sein? In diesem Fall die "Romcom" erfahrene Regisseurin und Drehbuchautorin Nancy Meyers, hochkarätige Schauspielstars, wunderschöne Schauplätze und natürlich ein Happy End. Obwohl "Liebe braucht keine Ferien" schon seit 2006 existiert, ist er immer noch bei Netflix zu finden und flimmert gefühlt in jedem zweiten Haushalt zu Weihnachten über den Bildschirm. Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law und Jack Black verlieben sich im englischen Surrey und in Los Angeles ineinander. Sie kämpfen mit Liebeskummer, Einsamkeit und sich selbst. Das alles entweder in gemütlichen englischen Cottages oder einer Luxusvilla in L.A. Diese romantische Komödie lebt auch vom Charme seiner gut aufgelegten Stars, dem Weihnachtsfeeling und witzigen Dialogen. Man munkelt sogar, es solle einen zweiten Teil geben... We Hope That The Holiday Is Super Happy

Today we are talking about The Holiday, written and directed by Nancy Meyers, from 2006. The film is about two women, Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz who are troubled with guy issues. They decide to swap homes with the hopes that a different location will help them out, only to fall in love with another local.

Iris: You're supposed to be the leading lady in your own life, for God's sake!
