Host Dean Rotbart recently conducted an informal poll of business owners and his social network friends.

What, he asked, is the one thing they would most desire more of? About 40% of those who responded answered “money.” Another 40%, however, replied that they wish they had more energy.

Dr. Amy Novotny, founder of the PABR Institute, which stands for Pain Awareness Breathing and Relief, says that over the past dozen years she’s helped countless clients — without caffeine, medication or surgery — address a wide variety of restrictive conditions, including a lack of energy.

More money, Dr. Novotny points out, may or may not buy you more energy. But more energy is very likely to help owners and professionals earn lots more money and check off other high-priority items on their wish lists.

Brig. Gen. Novotny was commissioned in 1992 upon graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy and earned his wings at Laughlin AFB, Texas. He completed six operational F-15 assignments with extensive test and combat experience, in addition to serving as an action officer at a major command, a fighter squadron commander, and a test and evaluation group commander. He was a Distinguished Graduate from Undergraduate Pilot Training, the U.S. Air Force Weapons School and the Naval Command & Staff College. He has also attended the School of Advanced Air & Space Studies and the National War College.

Brig. Gen. Novotny is a command pilot with more than 2,800 flight hours in 12 different aircraft, primarily in the F-15C/D/E and more than 540 combat hours. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Deputy Director, Plans, Programs, Requirements, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.

Ändå känner Tuva Novotny inte igen sig i bilden av skådisen som alltid är på resande fot. Lite åkande har det ju trots allt blivit, i höst får vi se henne i filmatiseringen av boken Eat Pray Love i rollen som Julia Roberts kompis i Rom. Ändå har intervjuerna börjat handla lika mycket om varför hon inte pratar om sitt privatliv som om själva filmen. Saman hälsar på hemma hos Tuva i hennes hemstad Köpenhamn för att prata om vilka livsvisdomar hon samlat på sig och vad hon är rädd för. Frågan är också om någon som jobbat så mycket med film som Tuva kan ha stunder som känns som om de är tagna ur en film.
