INSPIRATION SERIES: Saying YES When OPPORTUNITY Comes Knocking | Living A Nautical Life With Suzanne Webster

INSPIRATION SERIES: Saying YES When OPPORTUNITY Comes Knocking | Living A Nautical Life With Suzanne Webster

One thing is for certain; when opportunity shows up, it is usually not the "right time". And so we let fear speak for us as we pass it up. But what would happen if you said yes, no matter if it was the right time or not. Who knows what could lie on the other side of that "yes".

Suzanne Webster and her husband Steven have lived by that motto as they have made huge life moves over the years - uprooting and moving across the country with three teens, then selling their home and moving onto a boat, and finally traveling the waters of the Pacific Northwest for months at a time.

Suzanne tells us about the decisions they have made and what life is like aboard their "salty girl" Fortitude. We talk about empty nests and having kids spread out across the world and how their approach to exploring opportunities has afforded their kids to do the same.

You won't want to miss this very fun episode and then go find Suzanne and Fortitude on instagram HERE.

Tune into their show on em-radio.com RADIO FORTITUDE every second and fourth Sunday morning at 9am PST.

Or go to their site as Zanne plans to re-up on her blog to share their adventures.

The Present Is All We Possess

The Present Is All We Possess

In this episode of Navigate the Day, we explore the concept of living in the present moment. Inspired by a passage from Marcus Aurelius, we are reminded that no matter how long we live, we only ever have the one life we are currently living, and the present moment is all anyone truly possesses.

We are challenged with the journal prompt of imagining what it would be like if we focused entirely on the present moment. The host shares a personal experience of an existential crisis and how they struggled to focus on the present moment. They share how worrying about the future and dwelling on the past only led to more stress and anxiety.

Although the present moment may not always be enjoyable, it is important to focus on it without letting the past or future take over. By doing so, we can make the most of each day and take steps towards a better future.

This episode encourages us to appreciate the present moment and to take action towards a better tomorrow. Remember, the present moment is all we truly possess.

Thank you for listening and joining me on my journey of self-discovery!

An Interview with the CEO of Otune Radio Nicholette Williams

I’m really excited about this episode for one very specific reason, and that is because I once again have the opportunity to speak with a fellow colleague within the music industry. As you know, aside from my work as a spiritual author and podcaster, I am also a singer-songwriter. Your transformational why

    Your transformational why

Because of his very analytical right-brain thinking, Matheo Galatis was formally trained as a Chartered Accountant with experience in mining, banking, retail and distribution. However, what his educational advice failed to take into account was that this career was not his passion, not did it energise or excite him. Consequently, Matheo spent an immense amount of time learning and studying various disciplines of healing and human potential. He has immersed himself in diverse personal development programs some of which he now facilitates.

He has personally trained over 200 consciousness coaches, has mentored over 40 coaches and has also trained and examined high performance transformational trainers and teams internationally. He has lead group transformational training programs for over 3000 participants in public courses, organisational trainings and retreats since 2012. Matheo is also a coach examiner and coach supervisor. He has worked with clients from 27 different countries, ranging from successful CEO’s, political and public personalities, executives, coaches, trainers, therapists and entrepreneurs.

What blew me away in this conversation Matheo was his perspective around self-worth and living a true and authentic life. When the truth is revealed, Matheo believes real communication and transformation can occur. He is currently writing a book on how to increase self-worth and transform feelings of unworthiness, and believes when we resolve our past, we allow ourselves to pursue our true potential. Matheo is taking the personal development industry to a whole new level by supporting people to find what he calls ‘your transformational why’ – the one thing that usually prevents them from getting unstuck and achieving their life ambitions. This is a powerful, inspiring and wonderful conversation you do not want to miss.
