    What’s Your WHY?

    What’s Your WHY?

Join me this week as I share the importance of understanding your WHY in creating and sharing your art. It is an amazing tool that:

    • Provides mission clarity
    • Helps in decision-making
    • And you can filter decisions through (big and small).

Exploring and defining your WHY, and understanding what drives you to create and share your work, ultimately creates a deep well of enthusiasm and energy in pursuing your creative passions.

I also reflect on my own journey of understanding my WHY in making jewelry, and how it led me to be so passionate about sharing, and teaching, other creatives to figure out their own WHY.

I Want MORE Than a Second Act! Another LIVE WeSTAT Podcast Recording on Location at Nepenthe Art Gallery

Jess and Jess are coming to you live from Nepenthe Art Gallery located in Ft. Hunt/Alexandria, VA.
The theme of this audience involved conversation was centered around women (and a few men!) in their 40's, 50's and 60's deciding to move toward other areas of professional interest in second, third, fourth iterations of their careers. Attendees of this live recording have the chance to contribute their experiences and opinions to the conversation. Is it a generational shift in the culture that allows us to feel free to pursue our passion and interest instead of staying true to a career that we studied for and presumably committed to?
Lots of inspiration, food for thought, and beautiful experiences woven throughout this episode! The ups and downs, fears and anxiety, and utter thrill of learning a new facet of ourselves through stepping out into a new career are all accounted for here!

Meet Breathwork and Quantum Journey Guide Ellen Wong

Meet Breathwork and Quantum Journey Guide Ellen Wong

It was in 2018 that LA-based Ellen made the leap from her career as an executive creative director in digital marketing to co-create We Are All Daughters a Quantum Holistic Healing Space supporting collective healing through education, energetic therapy, plant medicines, and ritual tools. Because of her own need to make a healthy lifestyle change, these tools help reprogram the subconscious and regulate the body so that we can be liberated to live authentically.

The Woo Knew? Podcast launched in April 2019 and follows creators Sam and Ellen's transformational journeys as they explore the world of alternative healing. That same month, Ellen became a certified breathwork guide. With her background in design and music, shamanic healing, and entheogenic plant medicines, Ellen created an energetic practice that merges breathwork, guided visualization/shamanic journeying, Cannabis Sativa and freeform movement.

Through this journey work, Ellen guides her circles to connect deeply to their bodies, their "Little Selves," and to vast Quantum realities where the subconscious can be reprogrammed and old traumas released from the energetic and physical body. With her life practice and offerings, she acknowledges with gratitude the First Nations of the Tongva and Cahuilla, the Ancestors of the lands upon which she resides, and her own ancestral lines extending to Taiwan and China.

Episode 5- Chance Nelson: Work Life Balance Growth, from Fraternity President to Teacher/Football Coach/Content Creator/Bourbon Lover

In this episode, I brought on one of my best friends Chance Nelson for a fun and insightful conversation! Chance and I met in college as fraternity brothers, and we worked together as  President & Vice President. We both took our roles very seriously and helped grow the fraternity, while balancing academics, student organizations, fitness, and personal lives.

Chance now is a teacher, a football coach, and has a shared responsibility for the "Bourbon Boys" a Digital Brand that can be found on Instagram/Tik Toks. Chance helps create content to educate and entertain both new and long term lovers of Bourbon. Our conversation is focused on work life balance, goal setting, and passion projects.

Although this episode doesn't fully dive into how to "Run Breiter", this episode is meant to motivate people on how to Run a Breiter Life.

    88: Identifying One's Purpose

    88: Identifying One's Purpose

Without knowing who you are, it’s hard to find your true purpose in life.

Does that ring true to you?

In this episode of the Like Dragons Did They Fight podcast, Karen and three coaches discuss the power that identifying one’s purpose brings to one’s life. In our very first podcast, we talked about the importance of remembering who we are and whose we are. That basic understanding can be life-changing. But there is more we need to know.

We believe that every person is sent to earth with unique gifts that can be used to bless the world. But many of us go through life without ever recognizing those gifts - and never knowing the joy possible when we find and live our purpose using them.

Have you heard of “Passion Projects”? When a person finds their gifts, their 'element', and starts using them to bless the world, they have discovered a passion project. Huge shifts in their perspective of life can occur. Having a passion project of your own can bring you excitement and drive, and a reason to get up each morning and to keep learning and growing - all the while, making the world a better place.

And can you imagine the power over the adversary that you gain when you are no longer drifting, but you wake each day with a definite purpose?

Listen in and see how others have discovered their purpose - and how you can too!

If you would like to submit any feedback or if you have benefitted from these principles please visit our Email at likedragonspodcast@lifechangingservices.org

Sons of Helaman is a program for young men struggling with self mastery issues where they learn technics and principles to help them combat the influence of the adversary. For more information please visit https://lifechangingservices.online/sonsofhelaman/
