Support The Becket Cook Show on Patreon! In today's episode Becket interviews J. Warner Wallace on his new book "Person of Interest: Why Jesus Still Matters in a World that Rejects the Bible." J. Warner Wallace is a Dateline featured Cold-Case Detective, Author, Speaker, Senior Fellow at the Colson Center for Christian Worldview, and Adjunct Professor of Apologetics at Talbot School of Theology (Biola University) and Southern Evangelical Seminary and he is a best-selling author of several books, including "Cold-Case Christianity." J. Warner Wallace uses an investigative technique called "fuse and fallout" to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the life and work of Jesus and his resurrection are true. We discover that the circumstantial evidence is so overwhelming that there is nothing left to do but believe.Buy "Person of Interest: Why Jesus Still Matters in a World that Rejects the Bible"The Becket Cook Show Ep. 53WATCH THIS EPISODE OF THE BECKET COOK SHOW ON YouTubeWANT TO DONATE TO BECKET'S MINISTRY?PayPalVenmo: @Becket-CookWANT MORE?Buy Becket Cook's book about his dramatic conversion from gay atheist to born-again Christian: "A Change of Affection: A Gay Man's Incredible Story of Redemption" HERESTAY CONNECTED:TwitterInstagramFacebookwww.becketcook.comSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/thebecketcookshow)

Networking with Westworld's VFX Supervisor Jay Worth

Networking with Westworld's VFX Supervisor Jay Worth

Jay Worth is an Emmy winner, and not for something small that you haven't seen. He led the visual effects for one of the most visually iconic shows ever: Westworld on HBO. And before that, Person of Interest, Fringe, Alias, Altered Carbon, and many, many more.

But if you met him, you'd never know it. He is friendly, humble and hard-working. Always connecting people and invested in his community. He's not the self-indulged Hollywood stereotype.

You have to learn about his story from Malibu kid to the hardest workin' guy in VFX.

Person of Interest - Episode 1

Person of Interest - Episode 1
Air force policewoman Gaye Baker disappeared after taking a second job as a “hostess” with an escort agency in Fortitude Valley in 1972. She wanted to earn more money because her mother was ill and would likely need an operation they couldn’t afford. Gaye disappeared after going to Clayfield to meet her first client. Now cold case detectives are reviewing the investigation. This podcast reveals exclusive new detail of her disappearance and the first ever interview with Gaye’s sister Robyn about the difficult life they lived, her memories of Gaye and how their mother died of a broken heart.

Episode 114 - 4 Key Strategies for Coaching The Whole Person

Episode 114 - 4 Key Strategies for Coaching The Whole Person

Several years ago, I read a book called The Anatomy of Winning  which became a complete game changer for me and my business. I quickly learned that it isn't enough to teach people just the knowledge and the skill sets necessary to thrive as leaders. As the book explains, people are made up of four parts: body, heart, mind and spirit (also known as skills, desire, knowledge and confidence). When we truly tap into the needs of the entire person, only then will we find our winning team!

Today I have the privilege of interviewing the author of The Anatomy of Winning, Micheal Burt. Through years of coaching, leadership, and personal study (he has a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership), Micheal has learned what works and what does not. He will share with us:

~How do we coach the 4 areas of the whole person?
~What one quality should every good leader possess?
~What are the 5 areas of business coaching?
~How do leaders stay motivated when they continually pour into others?
~How do you raise the level of people around you?
