#4 Staffel 2 Schauspieler Manuel Rubey

#4 Staffel 2 Schauspieler Manuel Rubey

Ride Life's Waves Like The Ocean

Ride Life's Waves Like The Ocean

You’re not imagining it.  Stress is making us anxious and it is effecting our thoughts, feelings, and physical bodies.  Psychotherapist, John Tsilimparis, is back to explain the importance of identifying/managing stress and understanding how anxiety effects each of us differently.  And, gives us a simple stress test ( a great tool – really) that we can take anytime to tell us the truth about our stress and its affects.  Building emotional resilience is the key to adapting to change and going with the tide.  We must choose to be like to ocean to ride every wave of life.

    Fully Alive | "Resurrection Realism"

    Fully Alive | "Resurrection Realism"
It has been said that there are no pessimists in heaven. All of us fall somewhere on the spectrum between pessimism and optimism. Pessimists are in danger of fatalism and optimists are in danger of folly. But, the resurrection presents us with a different way of seeing life as "Resurrection Realists". In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches a message entitled "Resurrection Realism" from Acts 4:1-12. Chris applies the resurrection to our daily lives, calling us to a fully alive faith.

Bopping Around for Drinks and Snacks

Bopping Around for Drinks and Snacks

Not to brag, but I recently had a Tweet go viral (upwards of 2+ likes) about how vacation is really just about bopping around for drinks and snacks., and honestly? I stand by that. James and I just got back from London, the literal trip of a lifetime, so naturally I wrote up a pros and cons list for the recap. Let's dive in, shall we?

False evidence appearing real (FEAR) | E75

    Good morning everyone!

I woke up today feeling inspired and decided to mix things up a little bit and do an episode where I explore something we all are struggling with - fear. You might not realize it yet, but a lot of your decisions are conditioned by fear.

Seeing that premise of my podcast is quitting marijuana, I wanted to explore how this affects the quitting aspects and how to overcome that.

The 7 archetypes I mention on the podcast are:
    - The procrastinator
    - The rule follower
    - The people pleaser
    - The outcast
    - The self-doubter
    - The excuse maker
    - The pessimist

Thank you to Ruth Soukup for this!

Let me know if you find yourself in one of the archetypes.

    Have a good weekend,

    Best

    Anze

    Glass Half Full

    Glass Half Full

Let's jump into today's topic and talking about a glass half full being the optimist as opposed to a pessimist. Right? So it's a glass half full or a glass half empty or heck, you got a glass of water, right? Or whatever it is in it. But in any case, what are you are you an optimist or are you a pessimist? Now, here's the thing. You could change with whatever you want. If you're an optimist and you decide to be a pessimist, I don't know why, but no judgment. If you want to be a pessimist, great. You can start to change your mind, change your thinking and become a pessimist. But you can also go from being a pessimist to an optimist.
