    You are lifting in a meet against your rival. You turn in your openers and shortly later you look at the scoreboard and notice that your rival has openers that really outpace yours. How should you react to this?

    Practice calming down and relaxing. Many new lifters get over excited for the entire duration of the competition. This is not necessarily bad while under the bar. The source of the issue may actually be stemming from your feet - your ankles, or even your bar position. Work with a coach to determine the issue and embrace the squat!!!

    When you are 3 out, you get out of your chair and walk to the chalk bowl, leaving your headphones on your chair and your drinks under the chair. When you return from your attempt, you find your headphones on the ground and another lifter sitting in your chair. There are no other empty chairs but there are a few coaches sitting in other chairs. What do you do?
