    Nachdem Alexa beobachtet hatte, wie ein Schwein in die Metzgerei ihrer Heimatstadt geführt wurde, beschloss sie im Alter von 3 Jahren, Vegetarierin zu werden. Trotz aller Widrigkeiten - Familie, Freunde, Kindergartenbetreuer, Ärzte - folgte sie seitdem ihrem moralischen Kompass und fand ihren Weg in den Aktivismus. Jetzt ist sie verantwortlich für die Koordination des internationalen ProVeg-Schulprogramms. Die Organisation ProVeg setzt sich für Gerechtigkeit, Umwelt, Tiere, Gesundheit und Genuss ein.
