In this episode we discuss how pain syndromes occur, what's happening in the brain, how to diagnose and explain these syndromes in our patients and (most importantly) how to help patients on the road to recovery. Our guest, Dr. Schubiner, has decades of experience in treating patients with these syndromes and uses randomized controlled studies to inform his approach. This is part one in a three part series with LtCol Steve Morgan USMC (retired) served as a Marine Corps officer for over 30 years. His service included duty at numerous posts from Alaska, Hawaii, coast to coast, Japan and during combat tours in the Persian Gulf and in Afghanistan. His primary occupational specialty was a artillery officer where he commanded an artillery firing battery in combat during the Persian Gulf. He also served as an intelligence officer and commanded a joint team conducting combat operations in eastern Afghanistan during the early phases of Operation Enduring Freedom.

He discusses many of his experiences in combat, training, servant leadership and duty to Nation.

In Episode 65 (The second bonus episode and third episode this week!) Randy and Dean Warren interview bicycle race and event announcer Frankie Andreu.  Andreu raced professionally in Europe for 12 seasons, directed domestic teams and now announces at cycling races and events across the country.  He brings his insight to the podcast talking about the upcoming domestic season and what teams and riders to look for.  The Warren brothers conclude the podcast discussing the various races coming up for each calendar, the Pro Road Tour, the American Road Calendar and the USA Crits series.
