Stuart talks with 'Burners Without Borders' co-founder Tom Price, then shares an interview from the deep well of 'Culturally Attuned,' a podcast by the US Institute of Peace in collaboration with Burning Man Project.

Tom talks about community resilience and his attempts to bridge cultural gaps around race, color, privilege, and the legacy of colonialism.

Dan takes us down a strange and peculiar story hole this week. His two stories are a bit off the beaten path. He starts with the story of a family who adopts a Ukrainian girl only to find out, she might not be who or what she claims to be. A lot of people have drawn a comparison between this story and the movie, "The Orphan". The movie existed before this strange occurrence, so who knows if the family was overreacting because they had seen the movie or if they were inspired to eliminate a threat to their family, quickly, because of the movie. The second story from Dan takes us to Pyramid Lake for some really peculiar details. From giant fish to water babies, Pyramid Lake seems to have some very interesting things living, or not so living, just under the water.

Carrying on the theme of the strange and unexplained, Lynze has two juicy tales. The first one is of a haunted house. Perhaps the house didn't need to feel creepy, it could have been a kind spirit but it all took a turn for the south with a simple touch. Did this family accidentally invite something in when they began a remodel? You will think twice about painting your room after this one! In her second story, Lynze has a good old fashioned tale of the monster under the bed. Everyone has felt that kind of fear as a child but what would you do if you actually saw it? A listener has a really hard time ever sleeping again...
