Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #5 | Find Harmony With Self-Care

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #5 | Find Harmony With Self-Care

This week Rachel, the host of Live Your RAW Life podcast is shining light on the topic of self-care.

For some of us, we don’t take the time for self-care as we should. In this episode, Rachel talks about some possible reasons why we may not give ourselves time for self-care, how to overcome those reasons, and offers a four-step process on bringing self-care into your regular practice.

Along the way she shares some of the deep healing work that she has done in order to be ok with slowing down and taking time for herself.

    This week’s challenge:

Work your way through the four steps of self-care.

    1. Bring awareness to your current relationship with self-care
    2. Choose what form of self-care is going to fill you up the most and will work in your current reality
    3. Schedule it in, actually, block out that time on your calendar
    4. Act on it, follow-through

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #3 | It All Started With Goji Berries-Nutrition and Lifestyle Eating

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #3 | It All Started With Goji Berries-Nutrition and Lifestyle Eating

In today’s episode, we continue with part 2 of our 5 part series about the wellness component of Physical Health. We take time to walk through your personal history with food and speak about nutrition and lifestyle eating.

The intention of this week’s episode is to hopefully bring some awareness to what you are putting in your body, and see if you are able to tune into how that makes you feel on an energetic level. Along with that, perhaps this will kick start you into a healthy lifestyle eating pattern that is going to work best for you if you are not already there.

This week’s challenge has two parts:

    1. Track your personal history with food. Take some time for yourself, and write down various “diets” you have been on, make note of how you felt, how long they lasted, results you experienced, and how long the results lasted.
    2. Create your own version of a “Meals At A Glance” calendar. Sit down, do a little research to discover some recipes that are in line with how you would like to eat and plan out one week’s worth of meals.

I’d love to hear what meals you came up with, or perhaps epiphanies you have during the process of tracking your personal food history.

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #2 | How Physical Activity Saved Me

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #2 | How Physical Activity Saved Me

In this episode, we will begin to break down the wellness components. This is part 1 of a 5 part series about the wellness component of Physical Health.

This is where developing a health and wellness routine can seem overwhelming, let’s start small.

They say you eat an elephant one bite at a time. Same here, one step at a time.

I share a very personal, and vulnerable time in my life when my physical abilities were compromised and how I overcame this incredibly challenging situation.  It demonstrates how essential moving our body really is.

    This weeks challenge:

Incorporate ONE thing in regards to physical activity that you would like to do. Start with as little as 15 minutes or longer, since we have some time. Make a routine of it, choose a time in your day that you can stay consistent with for the entire weeks’ span. BE SURE TO HAVE FUN!!

I’d love to hear what physical activity you started, what workout or movement you are bringing into your day! You can reach out to me through email, Instagram, or the Live Your RAW Life website, links are below.

    Magical Affirmation

    Magical Affirmation

Affirmations work by reprogramming the subconscious mind. It doesn’t matter whether you believe the affirmation consciously or not, when you hear it, your frequency shifts, your unconscious beliefs shift, and so your life starts to shift.

    • You can sit quietly and listen to the affirmation as a meditation practice
    • You can listen to it in bed before you go to sleep or as soon as you wake up
    • You can listen to it while you run or do yoga
    • You can have it playing in the background while you go about your day at home
    • You can put it on repeat and have it playing overnight

You don’t even have to be able to hear it for it to work!

This is the first affirmation I have ever recorded. I didn’t prepare or write anything down, I just spoke from my heart. It was healing for me to make it. My intention is that you too, experience healing by playing it.

There is so much information going around now, our conscious minds are frazzled. So I chose to put something out that is working on the subconscious. And there are so many different versions of reality right now, I didn’t want to add or detract to any of that; I wanted to make something that could stand alone, and be relevant whichever narrative you are tuning into right now.

Huge gratitude to Carlos Nino for permission to use his music. It’s called Reverbechosystem, and it was made with Iasos. It’s from the 2019 album, Bliss On Dear Oneness, on Leaving Records.
