    Winter Solstice Affirmation 2020

    Winter Solstice Affirmation 2020

We are all magic and everything we do is a spell. Each thought, word and action is a spell we cast. Consider that as often as you can, and be aware of what magic you are creating. What signals are you sending out into the ether? This will be received, picked up, and acted upon by the universal forces.

This Winter Solstice 2020, I am releasing this magical affirmation out into the world. I recommend downloading this, and storing it in iTunes, or somewhere where you can play it on loop without WiFi. Have the computer in the next room while you sleep, you don’t even need it in the same room for it to work. Or have it playing on loop at very low volume so you can barely hear it, while you are working or making food. Affirmations work on the subconscious mind, so it seems to almost work better if you can’t hear it.

This is my gift to you this Winter Solstice. It’s very powerful! It shifted a lot for me. Let me know what happens to you when you start using it.

The music is an excerpt from Chicago Waves, by Carlos Niño and Miguel Atwood Ferguson, released by International Anthem in June 2020, used with kind permission.

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #18 | Living Life More Whole-ly with Ellen Batchelor

“The one thing that we really need in this equation, it’s impossible to heal if you don’t have the desire to do so. You have to take that really difficult step and say, “I want things to change.”

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #16 | Healing Yourself To Heal The World With Rebecca Llewellyn

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #16 | Healing Yourself To Heal The World With Rebecca Llewellyn

“How it’s unique. Like each person is so unique, what is going to work for one is not going to work for another. And the other key component is they have to be willing to do it (the work). I mean, you know, if you are just showing up because you think it’s the right thing to do, you just have to be committed to the journey. There is no magic bullet, right? This IS the marathon, not the sprint.”

In this week’s episode, Rachel is joined by Rebecca Llewellyn. They discuss how their paths crossed, Rachel calls it a “Divine Intervention, and how what Rebecca does and who she works with is directly in tune with the current path that Rachel is on.

Rebecca broaches the topic of how life teachings are in the light but also the shadows and how she learned this through her own physical body and healing. This process really propelled her onto the journey that has led her to her work today.

She shares how her guidance through breathwork, Shamanic practices and one on one coaching help her clients through the healing process. Part of the healing process is through, what she calls the “Global Ceremony” what we know as COVID-19, and how this pandemic is the catalyst for healing the systems and the global disease of separation.

Rebecca also shares information about a beautiful project that is underway near her home in Canada on the “Land of The Dancing Deer.” This passion project is creating a Healing village, sacred sanctuary, and residential retreat center space where people will be able to visit, live during transitional times and improve their health and well-being. The vision is really to bring ways of healing from ALL Indigenous cultures and using the sacred land as the primary tool for that.

    Cacao Ceremony Testimonials

    Cacao Ceremony Testimonials

Cacao Ceremonies are a beautiful way to shift our energy into our heartspace. They are becoming increasingly popular, because as humans we need ritual to enable us to step back from our day to day responsibilities, and create space to unwind and reflect.  Using cacao as medicine is a fun and non-harmful way to do that. Kate Magic’s Cacao Ceremonies include gratitude, intention setting, visualisation, manifestation creation, gentle yoga and guided meditation. They can last from 2hrs to 7hrs, and are held online or in person. This recording is the closing 10 mins of a Cacao Ceremony Kate did for Emma and Steve of The Cardiff School of Naturopathy. You can hear in the participants voices how moved they were by the 2hr online ceremony, and hear from them how powerful they found it. To find out when the next Cacao Ceremony is, go to the events page at Raw Living. If you would love Kate to host a ceremony in your area or online for you, email kate@rawliving.eu.

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #14 | Shining Light On The Faulty Operating Systems Of Yoga, Ourselves, and The Systemic Whole With Karin Carlson

“After you get a little bit of yoga in you, there’s kind of a break down that happens, it literally is a seeing for the first time that I have been operating on a faulty manual. I have been operating on a pattern that is harmful and limiting and I need to let go of the very things that I have been using as crutches.”

This week Rachel is joined by Karin Carlson. Karin is not your average yoga instructor, she describes herself as a “rebel yogi teaching a deeper practice.” She teaches yoga to truly honor the traditions and sacredness, that is the practice.

Karin believes “yoga is not a business but rather a tool for personal and social revolution…” Rachel has been through her 200-hour yoga teacher training and can attest that this is at the core of every lesson within that training.

They carry the conversation from how yoga came into Karin’s life, to the social expectations of yoga and the fitness industry, to the importance of white women talking to other white women about their racism, and finally how you can connect on various levels with Karin.

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #6 | Everything In Moderation, Right? Or Wrong?

Live Your RAW Life~ Episode #6 | Everything In Moderation, Right? Or Wrong?

In today’s episode Rachel, founder of The Live Your RAW Life platform wraps up the five-part series about the physical health component. She brings awareness to moderation.

She shares personal experiences when she thought her behaviors and actions were in moderation but through consequences and research found that was not the case at all.

She also shares a beautifully written article by Dr. Mark Sherwood that sums up moderation. The intention of sharing this article is for you, the listener, to bring awareness to your relationship with moderation and notice how it is or is not serving you.

    This week’s challenge:

Just journal about your “go tos”. Those parts of yourself that you revert back to and overindulge in. As you are drawing awareness to what those are for you, acknowledge them, and give yourself permission to accept and find a harmonious balance with them.

This week’s challenge is very personal. I completely understand if you would like to keep this one close but, if you would like to share I’d love to be a support for you. You can reach out to me through email, Instagram, Facebook, or the Live Your RAW Life website.
