We ponder the suffering that must have been part of traveling for a month in the desert. We watch as Isaac and Rebekah meet for the first time. We experience for the first time in the Bible the mention of love between a man and a woman who become husband and wife. And we consider it all again as insight into our role as the bride and our relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

"Securing A Bride For Isaac." That's the title of today's episode, which has Genesis 24:29-54a as its main text. In this study, we meet a new character: Rebekah's brother Laban. We also listen in as the unnamed servant testifies to the goodness of God in leading and guiding him in accordance with God's will to the woman He has appointed to marry Isaac. 

"Sarah's Burial." That's the title of today's episode, which has Genesis 23:3-20 as its main text. In this study, we see that, though this may have been Abraham's darkest hour, yet God is causing one of His Promises to sprout. We are also reminded that, though we may be taken advantage of in this life, God supplies all we'll need to overcome the obstacles along the path to which He has called us to walk.
