 In chapter 15, Paul addresses the crucial doctrine of resurrection. He emphasizes the foundational importance of Christ's resurrection to the Christian faith, affirming that if there is no resurrection, faith is in vain. He explains the nature of the resurrection body, drawing analogies to seeds sown in the ground and the transformation from perishable to imperishable. Paul details the victory over death through Christ's resurrection, the defeat of sin, and the ultimate triumph at Christ's second coming. He concludes with exhortations for believers to steadfastly live in light of the hope of resurrection, encouraging them to be steadfast and immovable, dedicated to the work of the Lord.

In 1 Corinthians 16, Paul discusses the collection for the saints in Jerusalem, advising them on the orderly and systematic way to prepare for this offering. He encourages them to honor and support fellow workers in the faith, such as Timothy and Apollos. And it is especially at this time of year that millions around the world are confronted with this amazing claim - many with joy and thanksgiving at the blessed hope of the risen Christ, but others who refuse to believe what the Bible says. How important it is that Christians not only have a firm grip on this bedrock doctrine of the faith but also have the ability to convey it to skeptics who resist the truth.
