Gary discusses a recent appearance by Ray Comfort on the Dr. Phil Show. Ray decries the practice of "microchipping" people and how unethical and irresponsible it is (which it is) and how it "might" fulfill Bible prophecy and Revelation 13 (which it doesn't). Christians must stop looking for prophetic signs in every modern technology and start reading the biblical text as significant and relevant to those living in Israel in the first century.

Gary answers a listener question about the manuscript differences on Revelation 13 and the "number of the beast." Why does it appear as 616 in some and 666 in others? Does this refer to Nero Caesar, or is it some other cryptic message about someone in our present or future?

In this final part of his response to a Ray Comfort video about modern technology and the "mark of the beast," Gary discusses using the Bible to interpret the Bible. Gary shows how the Bible makes the most sense when taken on its own terms, and not by appealing to modern technologies. Beasts, marks, buying, selling, and numbers are all important parts of both the Old and New Testaments and we must understand Revelation in light of Scripture, not current events.
