    Join the chat with Georgie and I to talk RUNNING. She recently fell down the rabbit hole of running and found herself apart of a community with new friends full of support, motivation, and encouragement.

    Since then, she's repped out a couple half marathons, completed a Mental Health May run challenge that sparked many more people opening up about their mental health, is prepping for a marathon, and started the MEGARUN Auckland community.

    We chat her journey to start running, her Outward Bound and Spirit of Adventure experiences, running half marathons, starting the MEGARUN community in Auckland and how it came about, her recent Mental Health May running challenge, digging out the pain cave and chasing new results, and being the one-girl hypeman and ball of positivity she is.

    Her first ever podcast but she smashed it and we're so proud! Woo!

    Chronic Fatigue and Running: How Emil Faced and Manages Debilitating Chronic Fatigue By Running Slowly and Proclaims Running is Freedom!

    After trying just about everything to fight chronic fatigue, Emil found a physiotherapist who helped him slowly build up a running program. He details how he took 14-15 months to implement a walk-run program and get up to a 5k distance. Although he still was fatigued, running boosts his mood and he had to learn to let his body get used to training.Β 

    His advice:

    • Don't run several days in a row
    • Running is 'free space' and 'freedom'- enjoy it
    • Take it slow and take breaks as needed
    • Don't compare yourself to others- there will always be people faster and slower than you
    • Run without a watch or activity tracker and go based on feel
    • Just go- you will seldom regret going for a run!
