Camp Cope returned this week with a brand new single after three and a half years away – although, of course, they didn’t really go away. Singer Georgia Maq recorded a solo album, Pleaser, and she and bassist Kelly-Dawn linked up for a project called The Garageband Split back in 2020.

But the track Blue officially marks the return of Camp Cope. Bassist, Kelly-Dawn Helmrich, joined The Tuckshop to chat through how it all came together and what’s coming soon!
