Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where everything is going wrong, and hope is nowhere to be found. It is so hard to believe you can solve the problem and experience a blessing in times like this, right? This Sunday, we will dive into a precious story about a woman in total despair and her journey to become #Blessed.

Maybe, like this woman we’re looking at today, you’ve found yourself facing a hopeless situation, but there Is a path to escape and it begins with acting on your faith Outline: • The Pit of Depression [1-2] • The Path of Escape [3-7]

Faith in God should be shown in humble obedience to the instruction of God.

2 Kings 4:1-7. Her husband was a good man, but when he died he left behind a pile of debt. Now her two boys were about to be taken away because she couldn’t afford to keep them. The setting of our story is dark, but that’s when God’s power shines the brightest.

Whenever we are up against something that seems impossible, we can fall into a certain way of thinking. That thinking keeps what seems impossible from ever becoming possible, and the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7 that we will be look at in tonight’s midweek service was battling this same thinking. There are four things this woman is told to do that fight the kind of thinking that keeps us powerless. We will see some of these same things in other places in the Bible where what was impossible became possible. Do you know what these four things are and have they become part of your thinking in some area of your life?

God is unlimited. Yet, His presence and power in our lives is anything but limited. The problem lies with us, not with God. Let's unlimit God!
