She spoke about her experience of growing up in a Christian home in Uganda during the tumultuous time of Ediamin's dictatorship. Grace's parents relied on prayer for protection as they made the difficult decision to leave Uganda, seeking a safer future for their family. Upon arriving in the United States, Grace and her family faced racism and discrimination, including being asked to leave a church because of their race. Despite these hardships, Grace's parents modeled forgiveness and unwavering faith, teaching her valuable lessons about resilience and the power of prayer.

Grace delves into the concept of "winter seasons" - those times in our lives when we face isolation, uncertainty, and waiting. She shares how, during these periods, it is essential to stay grounded in our faith through prayer, reading the Word, and actively participating in a faith community.

Grace offers practical tips and insights on how to endure these seasons and grow deeper in our relationship with God. Furthermore, she highlights the importance of knowing our identity in Christ and finding our worth in Him rather than seeking validation from others.

Grace encourages us to stand strong in our faith, even when facing opposition or questioning the purpose of our waiting.

In our conversation with Grace, we explore the idea of "03:00 a.m. Friends" - those trusted individuals who stand by us during the darkest and most difficult moments. We discuss how cultivating these deep connections and being a reliable support system for others can bring strength and purpose to our own lives.
