But it was the tragic death of Khadija Derry that shook the town to its core. On a quiet evening in Converse, Derry sat in her car when two figures appeared and unleashed a hail of bullets before vanishing into the night. Tucker Hipps was a 19-year-old college student at Clemson University in Greenville, SC. His sophomore year, he would decide to pledge for the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. This would be a decision that would end in a deadly way for Tucker.

On September 22, 2014, Tucker would lose his life in what would seem to be a hazing incident.

Mary Ann Holder was a Wife, Mother, and kind-hearted woman who took in the children of her best friend Beth when she needed her the most. She was married to her high school sweetheart Rocky, but unfortunately their teen romance was not strong enough to last through to adulthood and they would ultimately divorce, leaving her with 6 children in her care.

Eventually she would move on and date a man for 10 years, but apparently that was not enough and she would start an affair with a man named Randy in 2008. Randy's wife would get wind of the affair and threaten to sue Mary for harassing her husband and family, so this would lead to Mary's mental breakdown where she would commit a heinous crime.

Loss.. Pain.. Senseless violence... It needs to stop!

On March 28, 2020, amid the Covid-19 “stay at home” order that was implemented by Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina, a mentally disabled woman would be brutally murdered. 20-year-old Mary Collins would disappear in Charlotte, NC after getting in an uber that was sent by her friend, Lavi Pham.

Lavi and his girlfriend, Kelly Lavery, would come up with a devious plan to convince Mary that they were her friends making her an easy target for their sinister plan. With the help of their two friends, James and America, they would take Mary’s life in a very gruesome manner and would try to cover it up in a way you could never imagine!

In the early hours of a September morning, James Mahoney's life would take a sharp left turn because of a man who could not control his addictive behavior.
Richard Bernard Moore was an addict who needed his next fix and decided James at Nikki's Speedy Mart would be his target. He made it out with a measly $1408 while leaving James' lifeless body on the ground, but quickly found his way into police custody and confessing to everything.
After his two-part trial, he was sentenced to death but aggressively started the appeals process soon after. Dick is finally scheduled for execution for the 4th time over the last 20 years, and his will be the first to happen since 2011.
South Carolina just passed a law in 2021 allowing inmates to choose between the electric chair, lethal injection, or a firing squad, however the last dose of lethal drugs in the state expired in 2013. So just this past Good Friday, Richard went with the new method of execution, firing squad.
He is sentenced to die on April 29th, 2022 if his stay of execution request is denied, so now we all eagerly await to see if he will be the first man since 2010 to go out by a bullet.

Tamika Antonette Huston was a beautiful and talented 24-year-old woman with the world ahead of her including her graduating with a degree in nursing. She was living on her own in Spartanburg, SC, had a dog named Macy who was like a child to her, and she was passionate about singing ever since she was little.
One day in late May 2004 would unfortunately be the last time she was heard from, and 3 weeks later during a welfare check, police would learn that something was seriously wrong.
A few key pieces of evidence bring investigators closer and closer to finding out what happened to Tamika, but not without having to put in some hard work.
