This week, Nick Sun finds himself one hour north of Chiang Mai, where he has spent the last five weeks at a Muay Thai Sangha, a Muay Thai intensive retreat for the mind, body and spirit run by Kru Pedro Solana. They discuss a wide range of topics to do with the path of the spiritual warrior, including fear, pain, ego, meditation and more. Pedro has practised a variety of martial arts for the past 30 years, specialising in Muay Thai, Muay Chaiya and Krabi Krabong (Thai double swords). He is also an accomplished meditator, yogi and spiritual practitioner. The last five weeks Nick has spent under Pedro's tutelage has been a deeply transformative experience and he highly recommends everyone to go spend time with Pedro, you won't regret it! When we feel like a failure, we need to find moments of meditation or stillness, to connect us to who we are and the power we gain from this.
