    Daniela shares her concerns over gun violence in the U.S and more in this very transparent interview. Daniela Tablante was born in Venezuela but moved to Spain when she was still a teenager. She decided to pursue her American Dream In the United States where she graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications and an M.S. in Spanish Multimedia and has interned and worked for companies such as NBC and Univision.

    Currently, Daniela owns a production company in South Florida, in which she produced her a documentary on the psychological consequences of gun violence and mass shootings, an everyday issue that takes away many lives in America.

    At the age of 13 years old, Brenda had her first summer job working with adults with disabilities. That is where her love for activism began. Brenda is a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault and she believes that those violent traumas in her life made her an even stronger activist. Brenda attended Virginia Western Community College and majored in mental health and social work so that she could help other women, children, and men that suffered abuse. Brenda has been working in the field of social justice/civil rights for about 39 years as well as having worked on local, state, and national campaigns for about 30 of those years. Throughout her many years of advocacy, she is proud and honored to be serving her second term as the Richmond Virginia National Action Network Chapter President.     Mr.Willie Brown is a Richmond, Virginia resident, and Returning Citizen after serving 35 years and 11 months in the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Corrections. Since being released November 30, 2018, he has spoken at a Prison Reform Rally, advocated and spoken in support of Bills at the State General Assembly for the incarcerated, and has advocated with family members at Parole Interviews on behalf of their loved ones confined. He is currently a part of a newly formed Criminal Justice Committee formed by Brenda Cole's Brown, the President of the Richmond, VA Chapter for The National Action Network organization. Mr. Brown has participated in a webinar panel discussion about his experiences in prison and the parole board process for the Day of Empathy and #Cut50 hosted by Karen Morrison.


    He has been discharged from parole supervision as of
    March 27, 2020, and is focused on working with others who are dedicated to serving the oppressed, poor, and disadvantaged, of the incarcerated and non- incarcerated.
    Mr. Brown feels In regards to Freedom, Justice, and Equality in a broken and corrupt system. Dr. Marten L. King said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere... Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."

    Vincent Martin was born in Richmond Virginia. He is the author of " Justice Denied". Martin was wrongfully convicted, resulting in spending 41 years in prison. He found a new purpose in helping to provide vital support and services to other incarcerated people. Martin is a member of the National Action Network Richmond Chapter, and the Council for Incarcerated De-escalation Committee.
    Vincent Martin's life echoes encouragement for countless others, as he often says, " Thank God Almighty for a sound mind and the ability to endure."

Brenda is a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault and she believes that those violent traumas in her life made her an even stronger activist. Brenda attended Virginia Western Community College and majored in mental health and social work so that she could help other women, children, and men that suffered abuse. Brenda has been working in the field of social justice/civil rights for about 39 years as well as having worked on local, state, and national campaigns for about 30 of those years. Throughout her many years of advocacy, she is proud and honored to be serving her second term as the Richmond Virginia National Action Network Chapter President.
