    Surviving grief with Clare Nation

    Surviving grief with Clare Nation

For the first time ever, after a decade, Clare Nation; a prominent real estate agent and entrepreneur in Perth, shares her story of unspeakable grief and heartache. Finding an introduction to this story that serves it justice is tricky, to say the least. This episode is tears and absolute vulnerability. I cannot thank Clare enough for bravely sharing her story. I deeply believe in doing so, gives power to all who face dark and hard times, and cannot see what the other looks like, or if it even exists.

    Thank you, Clare.

Grief - Learning How to Exist With It & Heal with Edy Nathan

Grief - Learning How to Exist With It & Heal with Edy Nathan

We kick off with finding out that our understanding of the word grief, may actually have more levels than we initially think. Being born, the loss of a limb, missing some part of human connection and much more, not only the loss of a loved one.

I ask Edy the big question, “how do we best deal with a person who is going through grief” and her in depth explanation is touching.

Grief is hard to talk about and Edy teaches us all to dance with your grief and that it is your soul that actually offers the answers to relief ultimately.

Edy is dedicated to helping people understand their grief, cope with the fear and the struggles that hold them back, and learn to live fully

An essential element in her practice is to offer clients the chance to combine psychotherapy with a deeper, more spiritual understanding of the self.

What an amazing and touching subject to discuss as grief inevitably affects every one of us and therefore we should all have the tools to help us cope with the emotions and the hurt we feel.

Surviving Grief During the Holidays with Marian Sorci

Surviving Grief During the Holidays with Marian Sorci

Marian Sorci is a facilitator of Grief Share, an organization that provides a safe place for individuals to work through the loss of a loved one. She’s also a dear friend of mine and was a huge help when my Mom passed away just one year ago from glioblastoma.

Marian and I sat down to talk specifically about grief during the holiday season which can be particularly hard to get through after losing a loved one. Marian gives us some great tips for surviving the holidays, stepping into new traditions, and how we can support others that are grieving. This episode is an important one for every one to listen to. After the last few years, I think its safe to assume that all of us either lost a loved one or know someone that did.
