The trio tackle tough topics such as dealing with intense back pain during a run, creating a strategy for nutrition during long runs and hot races. In a humorous yet thoughtful twist, they also discuss the 'WTF Moment of the Week', which centers around the controversial 'Enhanced Games', an alternate version of the Olympics where doping is, surprisingly, permitted.

Listeners are also treated to in-depth race recaps from Ironman 70.3 Andorra and Ironman Frankfurt, the European Championships. With the outstanding performances of athletes like Jan Frodeno and Ashleigh Gentle, there's plenty of race excitement to dissect. The hosts also have fun comparing their pre-race predictions and highlighting their favorite social media post of the week.

Since it's Tour de France season, listeners can expect the hosts to share their passion for cycling, delving into some serious peloton analysis and mountain stage appreciation in the weeks to come.

This episode is a rich blend of personal stories, listener queries, race reviews, and the love of endurance sports. For those seeking to push the boundaries of triathlon talk, this episode offers an insightful and entertaining ride.

Ironman 70.3 St. George - 5 Life Lessons Learned

Ironman 70.3 St. George - 5 Life Lessons Learned

Every time I race I am not only amazed at what you can train the physical body to do, but I love seeing how many life lessons I can learn from each race.

I share 5 lessons I learned while racing Ironman 70.3 St. George:

1-Train your mental game as much as you train the physical game

2- Be present, and don’t drag your past into the present

3-Don’t be greedy, and be patient

4-The outside is a reflection of what is happening on the inside

5-Give your brain something to focus on

We all have passions and hobbies.

What life lessons are you learning through your hobbies?

A Vessel for GOOD with Matt Miller - the President of Base Performance

Matt Miller is the president of Base Performance and my team captain for our BASE team of 1200 athletes. I had the privilege of interviewing him, and learning more about his passion for the sport of triathlon and his desire to "do good" in all areas of his life.
    Some points we discuss:
-Triathlon teaches us to not quit when things get hard
-Being on a team is a great way to get support and elevate you game
-Finding ways to "do good" by being involved in the community, charities,  serving family and team family in the best ways possible
-Triathlon helps us rediscover the "kid-like" feeling again
-Making lemonade out of lemons when racing and in life
-Remember what matters most and keep priorities straight

There are so many great take away. I feel so grateful to be on a team with such diversity and strength. Matt is a great leader, and I am happy you get a sneak peak into his world.
