And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.”

People who are called by God need to be processed. The calling is one thing and the process is something completely different. Joseph was processed for 13 years. He was set apart from his brothers and given a beautiful coat of many colors by his father at age 17, but little did he know his process was about to begin. After being thrown in a pit and sold by his brothers, he ended up in prison in a foreign land accused of something he did not do. BUT the bible says that "GOD was with Joseph and showed him his faithful Love" and he succeeded in everything he did. From the Pit to Prison, Joseph ended up in the Palace as the Prince of Egypt. The bible says "he saved the lives of many people." God never left Joseph and he will never leave you! 

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people." Genesis 50:20

Everyone wants to be called, but not everyone is willing to pay the price. With every call, there is a character and maturity building process. If God is the one calling, you cannot avoid it, but if man is calling, it is avoidable.

Anyone can be used powerfully by God but there is a great price to pay. The bible teaches us that David was a man after God's own HEART. After David was anointed in the midst of his family, It took roughly 15 years of trials and tribulations that he had to go through for his anointing to be activated. There was a developmental process that took everything out of him spiritually, physically, and emotionally, but his HEART never changed!!! 

The Anointing of God was being activated!

The Anointing draws people to you
The Anointing makes you valuable to God... but when you become valuable to God, you also become important to satan. THERE IS A COST TO THE ANOINTING!!

1. Burnt Offering

Leviticus 1:3 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, you are to offer a male without defect. You must present it at the entrance to the tent of meeting so that it will be acceptable to the Lord. (NIV)

2. Grain Offering

Leviticus 2:1-2 ‘When anyone brings a grain offering to the Lord, their offering is to be of the finest flour. They are to pour olive oil on it, put incense on it 2 and take it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the incense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord. (NIV)

3. Fellowship Offering

Leviticus 7:11-12 “‘These are the regulations for the fellowship offering anyone may present to the Lord:12 “‘If they offer it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank offering they are to offer thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in, thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with oil, and thick loaves of the finest flour well-kneaded and with oil mixed in. (NIV)

Leviticus 7:15 The meat of their fellowship offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day it is offered; they must leave none of it till morning. (NIV)

4. Sin offering

Leviticus 4:2-3 “Say to the Israelites: ‘When anyone sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands—3 “‘If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the Lord a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed. (NIV)

5. Guilt Offering

Leviticus 5:15 “When anyone is unfaithful to the Lord by sinning unintentionally in regard to any of the Lord’s holy things, they are to bring to the Lord as a penalty a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value in silver, according to the sanctuary shekel. It is a guilt offering. (NIV)

Hebrews 10:12 But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. (NLT)

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (NIV)

How we should offer ourselves as a sacrifice to God:

1. As a living sacrifice

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (NIV)

2. As a holy sacrifice

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (NIV)

3. As a pleasing to God sacrifice

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (NIV)

Romans 14:7-8 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone.8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. (NIV)

4. As true worship

Our worship has an object - God. If you want your worship to be right, you must understand the object of your worship. You must have knowledge of the object of your worship.

God is not material nor is He a psychological object. He is a spirit.

God is not a doctrine.

God is not a bible.

God is not a theory.

God is not a material thing.

God is not something you can see or touch.

God is not an idea.

God can not be sensed by any art of your body.

When something is a spirit, what do you use to contact it? Your spirit!

The problem we have in church is that we leave our spirit at home. In order to connect with God you must use your spirit. Stop using your mind. A double minded person cannot receive anything from God.

When true worshipers worship, the walls of Jericho come tumbling down!
