    Lamar Odom: Professional Athlete

    Lamar Odom: Professional Athlete

Trigger warning: The following podcast episode contains graphic descriptions of sex and drug use. Listener discretion is advised.

Lamar Odom is one of the most prominent professional athletes to go public with his decision to stop watching porn. After telling TMZ Sports that he had given up porn as part of building a healthier lifestyle for himself, we sat down with the former NBA star near his birthplace of Queens, New York. In this episode, listen to Lamar open up about how his porn habits negatively affected his performance as an athlete and warped his sexual encounters with partners. Also, hear how Lamar has been able to improve the intimacy in his life and focus on his athletic aspirations after deciding to cut out porn. We always admire when influential people speak up about how pornography has affected them in negative ways. We applaud Lamar for being unapologetically real about this issue, and we are so grateful for his support in our efforts to educate individuals on the harms of pornography.

The Death Penalty Simply Doesn't Work

The Death Penalty Simply Doesn't Work
Based upon my active experience as a prosecutor and trial court judge, and regardless of anyone's political philosophy, the death penalty does not work and should be repealed! This is also the firm opinion of this week's guest, who is Mr. Mike Farrell, who has gained international fame as B.J. Hunnicutt on the award-winning M*A*S*H television series. From any standpoint, human, deterrence, financial, and especially from the standpoint of the victims left behind, the death penalty works against the interests of civilized society, to the extent that any country using it would not be allowed to join the European Union. As such, and believing this so strongly, Mike Farrell has been a tireless and effective spokesperson for Death Penalty Focus, which was formed to provide honest, truthful and direct information about this issue. Bill Cosby, Brock Turner, Roger Ailes, Anthony Weiner: How Many Men Must Fall Before We Start to Help Them? A Conversation Among Inner Revolutionary Men
The news is full of it – a man sexually victimizing someone. Good that we’re helping the victims, but what about the perpetrators? Aren’t they also victims of their own out-of-control sexuality? Aren’t we daily flooded with examples of men raping, molesting, abusing or sexually harassing others? Aren’t tons of households struggling with sons and fathers addicted to pornography? Today we ask “Why?” Why are so many men struggling with their sexuality? And why are we primarily focused on punishment? Why aren’t more of us addressing how we can help? It’s time for men to speak up and focus on healing what drives men toward sexual violence and addiction – their own and others. Todd Benton, James Maynard and Richard Di Santo are part of the Inner Revolutionary Men’s group, and they’ll be co-hosting and discussing the deep-rooted causes of men’s sexual addiction and what they are doing to help. Let’s tune in and see if we can’t help our men, instead of disowning, punishing or shaming them!

    A Dinner Scandal

    A Dinner Scandal
Luke 19:1-11. Who could predict that one lunch would make such an stir? The Jews were waiting for their Messiah to overthrow their Roman oppressors. Despite this, Zacchaeus was a thief, a traitor and a collaborator with Rome. Imagine their surprise when the leading Messiah candidate shared a meal with the enemy instead of swinging a sword.
