    ‹ Al di là del recinto › Shaun Vita da Pecora, il Film | Podcast [034]

    Shaun Vita da Pecora è un film del 2015, diretto da Richard Starzak e Mark Burton, prodotto da Aardman Animations. È stato candidato come miglior film d'animazione agli Oscar, Golden Globe e Bafta ed ha ricevuto cinque nominations agli Annie Awards.

    Il film è basato sull'omonima serie che racconta la vita tranquilla di una piccola fattoria nella campagna inglese. Il protagonista Shaun è una vivace e intraprendente pecora che coinvolge le altre pecore in tante avventure, a dispetto del cane Bitzer che deve mantenere l'ordine. Nel film, Shaun è annoiato dalla solita routine quotidiana e architetta un piano per avere un giorno libero: far addormentare il fattore e metterlo a dormire nella roulotte. Quest'ultima però accidentalmente rotola via fino in città, inseguita dal cane. Ben presto, Shaun e il gregge capiscono che il fattore sia indispensabile e quindi partono con la missione di riportarlo a casa.

    Shaun Vita da Pecora è un film adorabile. La semplicità della storia viene equilibrata dalla profondità dei personaggi, che seppure non parlino, riescono a trasmettere le loro emozioni e sentimenti in modo strabiliante. Il ritmo tranquillo lascia spazio a momenti di vita quotidiana, gag divertenti, piani ben congeniati e canzoni nostalgiche. La stop-motion è di altissima qualità e dà un livello di dettaglio e di calore in più, che vi farà inevitabilmente affezionare a queste magnifiche pecorelle. È un film che ben dimostra la passione e dedizione che gli artisti di Aardman mettono sempre nelle loro creazioni.
