A Trip Down Memory Lane
This week we are delving into the archive of the show to listen back to a classic show feature from the early days when we were still finding our feet. Iain has been sick for the last month and hasn't been able to arrange any interviews, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to look back at a feature that was around for the early days of the show 'Word Association'.

When Taylor visited Fr. Anthony in Pittsburgh, Father made him watch wrestling for the first time and it was an...interesting experience to say the least. They talk about how it was going well for a while until...well...then it wasn't lol.
The guys introduce a new game: Catholic Word Association. They have some ho-hum answers but some that get them all riled up that they discuss for a while. A wide gamut of topics!
Finally, Taylor shares some wild claims about himself & Jesus. Comparing yourself to Jesus ALWAYS goes well. He also makes claims about Jesus' liturgical preferences, His views on lights in Church, healing ministry & Catholic conferences. It's a blast!

Part of being human is making mistakes, especially the dumb ones. Why dwell on them when you can laugh and learn from them. Interestingly enough that's exactly what the Kings are discussing in this week's episode. Things take a turn for the better when the Kings discuss the openness in their relationships with their significant others. The lads discuss the stupid trope in movies and books where characters are reminded they are forgetting something but they can't figure out what they've forgot. Mikey "Doctor" Temple's name is thrown around far too often. Bombshell: The lads like sports. They have mascaraded as full-blown nerds for far too long. Johnny goes to his corner and delivers a depressing sentiment about parenthood and childhood. In Around The Table, Chris pits Ritz and Club crackers against each other. Johnny thinks bacon and crack affect the brain in the same way. Tomato soup is a polarizing food product. Pat both likes it and dislikes it. The lads finish off with a toddler-like enthusiasm for word association. Think Nicholas Cage, sorority girls, and light bulbs.

Episode 14 kicks off with a return to some of the issues that the Lasers started unraveling in episode 13, namely Jay’s relationship stuff. They play a lil association game that is to games what peels are to bananas and then delve deeper into the drama surrounding Jay’s life. They explore pretty gnarly penis hole stories, Mike makes a bit of a personal revelation :0 and they pontificate on Madonna’s pp (private parts). They make light of Jay’s circumstances while Jay hopes he hasn’t overshared before they talk about the podcast’s direction and Jay’s options. They recall NSFW tour stories and then close out with final thoughts on love and what’s important. Lasers!
