In this episode  I am joined by Jaime, Hector and Hiram (back in LA).  We give Hector a few minutes to do a victory lap following the big comeback Oklahoma pulled on our beloved Texas Longhorns.  We talk about Fury vs. Wilder part 3.  They guys say Wilder fought like a champion, I'm not so sure I agree with their boxing acumen.  Hector has a little fomo from missing the fight.  

We had a sausage fest where we sampled some local and Texas sausages..  In today's tasting we had HEB Hill Country Fare Jalapeno Cheese, Earl Campbell Hot Links, Chorizo San Manuel Jalapeno Cheese, Aguilar's Cheese, Vera's Chile Piquin, and Aguilar's Polish sausage.  We give them some ratings from 1-10 and also tell you what the best value one is.   We plan to close out the month by making our own sausage from what we learn over the next few podcasts.  

We play a game in the spirit of our favorite football player Deshawn Watson.  The game is called WatsOn or WatsOff.  I ask the guys if they would take Deshawn to replace their favorite teams quarterback and what they would have to give up for him.  The responses may surprise you.  

I give a quick overview of a pop up event we participated in at Snowbite.  In collaboration with Snowbite we serve up some Korean Kimchi Brisket Fries.   Deep fried French fries covered with nacho cheese then topped with brisket and homemade bbq sauce.  Then topped with kimchi and green onions.  Favor was amazing.  

Hiram takes us behind the red carpet and introduces a new LA term to us.  The term is not Daddy buy Zaddy as in Who's your Zaddy.  Check out the podcast to find out what it means.  We conclude by taking about our next podcast which will be remote from a local food  truck and friends at Smoke Crafters Barbecue.
