From creation, God has appointed men to be strong, good, Godly leaders of their wives, their families, and the church. The first sin committed was a result of Adam not asserting that role and instead, being passive. We saw it with Abraham and Jacob as well. Peter is a man of few words. He gets to his point and is often very blunt. In his masterful letter, 1 Peter, Peter shows a great dichotomy between those who belong to God and those who don't.
