It's hard to believe, looking back, at how crazy big the hype around Freddy Krueger got. This is where it all begins, 1984's unexpected smash hit, A Nightmare on Elm Street! Unlikely underdog for christmas slasher "classic", 2022's The Mean One is an odd take on the Dr. Seuss children's story. Jacob and Peter do their first recording session physically in person together, just after a lively Christmas party. They discuss where the Grinch might come from, the baffling motives of the town leaders of "Newville" (not Whoville), and their own interpretations of what it is to truly love the unlovable Grinches in our lives. After a long hiatus (got married, went on honeymoon) Gorman on Gore is back, and with a vengeance! The long-awaited sequel to our premier episode is finally here. Maniac Cop 2 takes everything you loved about the original film and dials it up to 11.

 Matt Cordell, the homicidal zombie cop, is out for revenge for being set up. Or maybe he's just angry about being punished for doing bad stuff. He's back to kill the men responsible for his imprisonment, and literally anyone else who happens to get in his way. Will hard-boiled detective Robert Davi and no-nonsense police psychologist Claudia Christian be able to solve the mystery of why Matt Cordell is such a jerk? Probably not. But hey, lots of car chases. Strap in and come for the ride along.

A game of revenge that features a week of sharks, each bigger than the next! Peter and Jacob venture into their first Asylum film in this wet and wild killer shark film. Dubious special effects and questionable lines abound. Speculation about how much horse tranquilizers a person should take is only the tip of the shark fin. Take a dive and cool off, just don't think about what might be down there with you under the dark waves. For the record, hammerhead sharks aren't dangerous.

Tis the season to celebrate cheesy killer snowman movies. On this second annual christmas special Jacob and Peter investigate multiple Jack Frost horror films. Yes, there is more than one horror film about Jack Frost.

As November comes to a close and winter gathers, we warm our hearts and minds with Jennifer's Body, a film directed by Karyn Kusama and written by Diablo Cody. Megan Fox has revenge on her high school after a boy band seemingly kills her in a demonic ritual. 

Does her best friend, played by Amanda Seyfried, have a crush on her, or is it just a deep childhood connection? Who at their high school will fall prey to Megan Fox's reign of terror? Initially a bomb at the box office, Jennifer's Body has slowly become a cult classic. It is very "2009". Check it out with us.
