    Podcast Summary

    • Real-life examples of applying Gary Vee's adviceIdentify your obstacles, work for free for a mentor, and take action to achieve your goals

Gary Vee, in this episode of his podcast, follows up with individuals he's interacted with on social media to discuss how they've applied his advice and share their own insights. During one call with a fan named David Hernandez, Gary encouraged David to identify the reasons why he wasn't pursuing his goals and urged him to work for free for a year to learn from a successful mentor. The conversation underscores Gary's emphasis on taking action and overcoming obstacles, such as insecurity or complacency, to achieve one's goals. This format, which combines real-life examples and practical advice, may be a new direction for the Gary Vee Audio Experience, and the team is seeking feedback from listeners to determine if it's worth continuing.

    • Overcoming self-doubt and fear of judgmentBelieve in yourself, identify root causes of inaction, and take action towards your goals despite fear of judgment and uncertainty.

Fear of judgment, insecurity, and a lack of belief in one's abilities can hinder motivation and action. The speaker expresses his frustration with individuals who consume content but don't take action towards their goals. He shares his own experiences of feeling unfulfilled and uncertain about his potential. The conversation touches upon the importance of having faith in oneself and the need to overcome fear of judgment and hard work. The speaker encourages the interlocutor to identify and address the root causes of his inaction, and to believe in his abilities to achieve his goals. The conversation also highlights the importance of having a clear vision and taking action towards it, rather than just consuming content.

    • Follow your dreams, even if it means moving outDespite fears and doubts, moving out to pursue your dreams can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment.

If you're living with your parents and feeling stuck, it might be time to take a leap of faith and move out, even if it's scary. The speaker in this conversation emphasizes the importance of following your dreams and not letting fear or others' opinions hold you back. He shares his own experience of wanting to leave his small town and pursue something more, despite the challenges and doubts. The speaker encourages the listener to sell what they can, find a way to move out, and seek support from friends or mentors. Ultimately, the decision to move out and pursue your goals may be difficult, but it can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment in the long run.

    • Facing Fears and Moving ForwardDon't let fear of judgment and rejection hold you back. The things we fear have already happened, and the best thing is to face them and learn from the experience. Take action towards your goals.

Fear of judgment and rejection from others can hold us back from taking risks and making progress in our lives. The speaker emphasizes that often, the things we fear have already happened, and we are only preventing ourselves from moving forward by dwelling on those fears. The speaker also shares a personal experience of being hesitant to leave a friend behind when pursuing a dream opportunity, but ultimately encourages taking action despite fear. The most intriguing part, according to the speaker, is that the thing we're scared of has already happened, and the best thing that can happen to us is to face our fears and learn from the experience. The speaker concludes by encouraging the listener to take action, such as reaching out to entrepreneurs or real estate agents in Los Angeles, to start making progress towards their goals.

    • Taking responsibility for personal growthAcknowledge past wrongs but focus on personal actions for growth, even if it means leaving uncomfortable situations.

Blaming external factors, such as a difficult relationship with a parent, for one's own circumstances can hinder personal growth and progress. The speaker acknowledges the truth in the mother's wrongdoings, but emphasizes the importance of taking full responsibility for one's own actions and making changes, even if it means making difficult decisions and leaving uncomfortable situations. The conversation also touches on the idea that many people have challenging relationships with their parents, but some are able to take control of their lives despite these challenges. The speaker encourages the listener to take action, even if it means making bold moves like leaving home or traveling to a new location, in order to break free from limiting circumstances and start fresh.

    • Tyler's Last-Minute Flight to LATyler emphasizes self-reliance and the use of technology to solve problems, while Andy trusts traditional methods and relies on others.

The conversation between Tyler and Andy revolves around Tyler sending money through PayPal for a last-minute flight to Los Angeles. Tyler is excited and insists that the flight might be sold out, urging Andy to leave immediately. Andy sends the money, but Tyler then asks him to go live on Twitter and figure things out at the airport if there's no flight. Tyler believes that relying on others, such as a mother, is outdated and that individuals should use resources like Google to solve problems on their own. The conversation ends with Tyler leaving for the airport and Andy staying behind with his wife. This exchange highlights the importance of self-reliance and the power of technology in solving problems.

    • Unexpected support from strangersPerseverance and determination can lead to unexpected opportunities and support from strangers. Seize opportunities and small actions can have a big impact.

Determination and resilience can lead to unexpected opportunities and support from unexpected sources. In the conversation, David, a young man, was faced with sudden homelessness in Los Angeles but was surprised by the outpouring of offers for shelter and support from strangers on social media. Despite initial doubts and challenges, he remained focused on his goal to change his life and eventually found a way to make it happen. Additionally, the conversation highlighted the importance of seizing opportunities and the potential impact of small actions, such as David's sale of a GI Joe tank for a profit. Overall, the conversation underscores the power of perseverance and the potential for unexpected support in times of need.

    • Encountering motivation from Gary VaynerchukMeeting Gary Vaynerchuk inspired David to pursue his dreams, leading to personal growth and potential business opportunities. Sarah learned to focus on the present and overcome burnout through her conversation with him.

Following your dreams and passions can lead to incredible opportunities, but sometimes external motivation is needed to take the first step. David's encounter with Gary Vaynerchuk served as that push, leading him to create content on YouTube and Instagram under the name "David Films." Despite initial doubts from friends, David's determination and hard work have paid off, resulting in potential business opportunities and personal growth. Moreover, it's essential not to judge ourselves based on past mistakes or setbacks, as Sarah learned during her conversation with Gary Vaynerchuk about overcoming burnout and focusing on the present. By embracing challenges and staying committed to our goals, we can make the most of every opportunity that comes our way.

    • Personal experience of burnout and the importance of refocusingAcknowledge burnout, connect with customers, and take small steps towards improvement to overcome challenges and refocus.

Experiencing burnout can sometimes be the catalyst for making necessary changes and getting refocused. The speaker in this conversation shared their personal experience of feeling burnt out after several years of intense work, leading them to take a step back and reevaluate their priorities. They acknowledged that this period of burnout was not ideal, but it ultimately gave them the opportunity to reset and refocus. The speaker also emphasized the importance of reaching out to customers and connecting with them, even during challenging times. They encouraged the listener to call every customer they had and make a meaningful connection, which could lead to positive outcomes and a renewed sense of purpose. Furthermore, the speaker highlighted the importance of taking small steps towards improvement, even during periods of burnout or feeling off track. They shared that a single good workout could help turn things around and provide the motivation to continue making progress. Overall, the conversation emphasized the importance of acknowledging burnout, making connections with others, and taking small steps towards improvement to overcome challenges and get back on track.

    • Reconnecting with people mattersReach out to every customer within 24 hours to rebuild relationships and renew connections.

Just like in boxing where each fight matters and the record starts anew after every bout, it's essential to focus on the present and make an effort to reconnect with people in our professional and personal lives. Sarah, a business owner, shared her experience of neglecting her clients and feeling the consequences of it. Gary's advice to her was to call every single customer within 24 hours, which she did, resulting in meaningful conversations and renewed connections. This experience showed that people appreciated the effort to reach out without any strings attached and that it was not a burden for them to engage. Thus, the importance of maintaining relationships and reconnecting with people cannot be overstated.

    • Connecting with authentic individualsBuilding a community based on genuine relationships leads to long-term success. Be authentic and document your journey to create a platform beyond any specific business or product.

People connect with authentic individuals, not just their products or services. Gary Vaynerchuk, a well-known entrepreneur and media personality, emphasizes this point in his conversations. Regardless of the industry, whether it's multilevel marketing or something else, building a community based on genuine relationships can lead to long-term success. Dustin, a listener, shared his experience of learning this lesson from Gary's content and applying it to his own life. He acknowledged that business success is rewarding, but the most significant wins come from building a community based on who you are as a person. Dustin emphasized the importance of being authentic and documenting your journey, which can create a platform beyond any specific business or product. Overall, this takeaway can be valuable for anyone, regardless of their industry or business goals.

The Most Important Question In Business

The Most Important Question In Business

Here’s the problem most people run into when they create content online: They think they have to have something to say. So many of you aren’t putting out content online because you think you need to have the perfect message, or something “valuable” to share (based on your own arbitrary opinion). And what I’m telling you is, you will get more business if you put out literally anything. If you’re an auto dealer, you could put out a 5 min video every afternoon just recapping what happened in your day. If you’re a real estate agent, you could post updates on what your opinions are about the Super Bowl teams. Get on social media and tell your truth … it’s really that simple.

Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor thinks rock bottom is required. Life as a model before social media, becoming a massive reality TV star with only $500 in his account, overcoming debt, and the numbers along the way!
This week, Jason is joined by reality TV personality, model, actor, and podcast host, Jax Taylor!

Many of you know Jax from his role on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, where he earned a recurring role after working as part of Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant staff back in 2013. After eight seasons on the show, Jax and his now wife Brittany decided to leave the show and focus on their personal lives. Prior to life on reality TV, Jax spent many years traveling the world as a paid model and occasionally landing acting gigs on shows such as Desperate Housewives and Dexter. More recently, Jax joined a cast full of reality TV personalities on a new reality competition show, House of Villains, which aired this past fall on E! However, the biggest news with Jax is about his dramatic return to Vanderpump Rules for Season 11 in 2024.

Jax gives insight to why he changed his name, how he broke away from the midwestern career track, what modeling was like prior to social media, how he went from overdrafting his account in order to be in certain spaces, how he was going to leave LA when Lisa Vanderpump called with the idea for Vanderpump Rules, his advice for getting out of credit card debt, and when he felt like he was financially made it. Jax also reveals how the show impacted his mental health, how he felt about leaving the show, what made him want to come back, how he has generated revenue, what someone needs to be prepared for when coming to LA to work in entertainment, how the conversation started about coming back to reality TV, and why he blocks people. What was the most outrageous thing he purchased during his time on Vanderpump Rules? What is his secret to digging himself out of rock bottom? What job did he almost leave LA for?

Jax reveals all that and so much more in another episode you can’t afford to miss!

Successful People Know How To Commit, with Andy Frisella - MFCEO67

Successful People Know How To Commit, with Andy Frisella - MFCEO67

Average people have no idea what commitment really costs. They feel good about themselves when they exercise a couple weeks worth of focus and self-discipline. The reality is, true commitment requires a wholehearted investment of everything a person has. It requires a sustained effort over an extended period of time.  True commitment requires a firm "yes," not a maybe. Knowing how to commit is what makes the difference between those who talk sh*t and those who do sh*t.
