Ultimately, we've made it far as a species by working together, and kindness is a crucial component of that.

Remember, what you put out into the world comes back to you, and kindness is the polar opposite of toxic and selfish behavior. It's a lifelong process to unlearn old habits, but it's worth it. Kindness is strength, not weakness.
