Small acts of positivity and kindness can have a significant impact on others and ourselves. As shared by Rich Hull, a simple comment on well-designed PowerPoint slides not only validated his efforts but also boosted his enthusiasm for work. Similarly, expressing gratitude to the barista for making our coffee can brighten up their day. These small gestures may seem insignificant, but they hold the power to make a difference. Therefore, it's essential to remember to spread positivity and kindness whenever possible, as it can positively impact those around us. Furthermore, Kate Cocker emphasizes the importance of receiving positive feedback and how it can impact us. She encourages us to join the Facebook group "Everyday Positivity with Kate Cocker" to surround ourselves with positivity and connect with like-minded individuals. By focusing on the good and spreading positivity, we can create a ripple effect that benefits everyone involved. In conclusion, let's make a conscious effort to spread positivity and kindness, whether it's through a simple compliment or a heartfelt thank you. The smallest gestures can make a significant impact on the people around us and ourselves. So, today, take a moment to think about where you can spread positivity and joy, and watch as it transforms the world around you.

EP 30: Lou Coghlan: It's Not About Me, It's About Us.

I had the most beautiful discussion with Lou, known for her community 'living and laughing with Lou' which she started with her adored Granny Nancy (who lived to 107 years). Lou talks about how she started this online community as a way to connect and stay close at a time when we were told to stay away. Lou documented her time with Granny Nancy during the covid pandemic, and what started as fun has led Lou to find her purpose — helping people known they are not alone and preparing them for the fragility of life.

We delve deep into the heartbreak of grief: something we are both very familiar with. This discussion was healing for me & I've no doubt it will be for all of you too. Lou has a warm presence and is so genuine in what she says.
