Former President Donald Trump's stance on abortion has sparked disagreement among Republicans, as he advocated for state laws to determine access, while some Republicans had hoped for a national limit. This disagreement could be an important issue leading up to the presidential election. Elsewhere, Tesla settled a lawsuit over a fatal crash involving autopilot mode, avoiding a lengthy trial. Actors, such as Jonathan Majors, face consequences for assault allegations, with Majors recently sentenced to attend a batterers intervention program and continue therapy for assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Two studies suggest pregnancy may accelerate the aging process due to its physical demands. Trump's stance on abortion, Tesla's settlement, Majors' legal troubles, and the aging effects of pregnancy are notable developments in their respective fields.

Pregnancy may temporarily impact a woman's perceived biological age, but studies suggest this aging process may reverse itself after birth, especially for those who breastfeed. Meanwhile, in the world of sports, Connecticut's men's basketball team made history by becoming the first back-to-back national champions since 2006 and 2007. Guard Tristan Newton led the Huskies to victory with a 75-60 win over Purdue, with Zack Eadie scoring a tournament-high 37 points for the Boilermakers. Where's the Millennial Middle Class?

    Where's the Millennial Middle Class?
It’s a bit of a trope that the millennial generation has had a rough go of it, economically.  After experiencing the Great Financial Crisis during their formative years, attending higher education during a massive debt-fueled student loan bubble, and entering adulthood while home prices were juiced higher and higher, the majority of millennials are now “behind pace,” financially speaking. In 2015, Pew Research conducted an interesting survey: It found that 89% of Americans considered themselves middle class. The survey then attempted to break down what middle class wealth actually looks like, landing on a median net worth of around $125,000 in today’s dollars.  I was curious how many millennials had surpassed that threshold, and as it turns out, the answer is…not many. This episode was inspired by headlines about the impending “Great Wealth Transfer,” often positioned as a solution to millennials’ money woes. But will it be? Let’s dig in.
