Dewa Dorje on the Little Voice inside you

Dewa Dorje on the Little Voice inside you

What does the little internal voice mean to you? Is it nice, loving, and affirming or critical and judgmental?  Does it keep you from doing things or expressing who you really are? Does it support you in your adventures? Listen to a great short conversation with Dewa Dorje, comedian, entertainer, writer and podcaster,  on what it means for us. It's funny how both Dewa and I had a different take on that little voice, yet we understood where the other was coming from. I was talking about the judgmental internal voice I struggled with growing up, and she was talking about the way you talk to your younger self now.

    Self Love

    Self Love

Self love is easy to say, yet so difficult to practice at times. How does it show up in your life? Who do you look up to in that department? As you can see, Frida Kahlo taught me that through her self portraits, especially the one where she’s holding her own hand. Wow, she was there for herself, she had her own back in joy as well as dark times. RIP Frida, gracias for leaving something for me!

Let’s break fitness down into baby steps!

Let’s break fitness down into baby steps!

This is a short episode breaking down our fitness into segments. It applies to life in general as well. Both can go hand in hand! I once came across the idea that our kingdom is our mind and body, and once we learn to dominate our own, can we hope to help others. It made so much sense to me.

Here’s your why? Want to experience pain or joy?

After my lovely conversation with Julia Freeland about her life and her book,
‘Take Your Shoes off First,’ we had a nice heart to heart that inspired a joint holiday challenge for our people.

We all get to choose where we spend our time and energy with every decision we make. It’s nice to have a fresh perspective, and physical activity gives us that in so many ways. I talk about the body and chemicals it signals to the brain body in this one.

More to come on the holiday challenge, going from Nov 24-Jan 5, 2022.
If you are ready to join, sign up HERE.
